Throwing it back to that time I swam with the stingrays šŸŸšŸ šŸ¦€ Getting ready for my next trip tomorrow and realizing that this will be our first international trip of the year!! Not sure how I went 5 whole months without leaving the country but definitely excited to cross somewhere new off the list tomorrow. āœˆļø Anyone else have any exciting travel plans coming up?!

Stop worrying about how itā€™s going to happen and start believing it will. āœØ

Hard to beat a beautiful sunset, especially at @southseasresort ! This past weekend we took a road trip to Captiva Island in Florida for a relaxing getaway. From sliding down the water slide to swinging in the hammocks to seeing 10+ manatees and dolphins, @southseasresort was the perfect spot to escape! If you missed it, be sure to check out my Captiva story highlights for all our adventures (and the manatees!) Ps: Captiva is also a great spot to see the green flash at sunset!!

Smiling because we are headed on a new adventure this weekend! One of my favorite things about moving is having a new home base to adventure from. Since moving to Florida 2 years ago, weā€™ve been able to check a lot of new places off the list. From Anna Maria island to the Florida Keys, we are adding one more beautiful Florida island destination to the list! Stay tuned to see where! Ps- who else is a big fan of road trips?! What is the coolest destination you have road tripped to?

Life is to short to wake up in the morning with regretsāœØ

ANNOUNCEMENT! (Read until the end for a surpriseāœØ) Iā€™ll be honestā€¦ I had a dream of being a travel creator YEARS before I ever created my SweetCarolinaJ account, but there were 2 things that held me back: 1) I was worried my friends + family (and people that I barely knew) would judge me for posting on social media. To the point where when I did finally work up the courage, I told NO ONE what I was doing until I grew to ~10,000 followers and felt like Iā€™d ā€œmade itā€. In reality though, it has been the opposite! Everyone has been extremely supportive of my journey and I could not be more grateful. 2) I had no idea where to start. You hear all these tips and tricks online.. but they only make up bits and pieces of the puzzle of how to turn this hobby into an actual career. I receive a lot of messages and people reaching out asking to ā€œpick my brainā€ for advice on how to get started with social media. Iā€™m happy to announce that I FINALLY have something for you! And the best part - ITS FREE! āœØ Iā€™ve put together a 30 minute masterclass teaching you how to - get clear on your branding - grow an aligned + engaged audience - and most importantly MONETIZE no matter what the size of your following! So if youā€™re someone who has always dreamed of being one of those influencers partnering with your favorite brand or jetsetting on an all expenses paid trip- this is for you! Click the link in my bio or stories to access the ā€œJumpstart Your Influencer Careerā€ masterclass āœØ

One of the perks of a Motherā€™s Day brunch at @vinoyresort ? Getting to make your own flower bouquets! Last Friday I was able to preview both the Easter and Motherā€™s Day brunches at @vinoyresort and they did not disappoint! If youā€™re looking for something special to do in the Tampa Bay Area for these holidays, Iā€™ve included a few details on their brunch below. āœØšŸ’ Easter Brunch March 31st at 11 am and 2 pm šŸ“ Vinoy Grand Ballroom Perks: egg decorating station, photos with the Easter Bunny, & an egg hunt in the Tea Garden Motherā€™s Day Brunch May 12th šŸ“ The Vinoy Grand Ballroom Perks: make your own flower bouquets + live music #vinoyresort #tampabay #stpetersburg

Just a photo of me casually walking to the spa building at @pierhousekw because I love how charming the resort architecture is! šŸ’†šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø Fun fact: The Pier House is the only resort on Key West with a full service spa! #yourpierhouseparadise #pierhouse #keywest

Made it to Key West! One thing that has been on the bucket list for us was road tripping down the iconic Florida Keys bridges and spending a few days in Key West! And there is no better spot to call home during our stay than @pierhousekw ! One of the few resorts with their own private beach and the only resort with a full service spa- @pierhousekw is a nice oasis right in the heart of the downtown. PLUS! The resort is home to the Chart Room bar where Jimmy Buffet not only used to preform but where he met his wife. Have you ever been to the Florida Keys? #yourpierhouseparadise #pierhouseresort #pierhouse

The face of someone fully relaxed after a massage at @pelicanbeach. Plus itā€™s really hard to beat this ocean view! If you were to indulge in a spa day, which of these @pelicanbeach specials would be your go to? - Salt Stone massage - Papaya Body Dream - Foot reflexology - Restoring & soothing body wrap - Vitamin C boosting facial #pelicangrandbeachresort #fortlauderdale #beachvacation

When people ask me why I live in Floridaā€¦ ā˜€ļøšŸļøšŸ¬šŸš

Never let anyone dull your sparkle āœØ Throwing it back to 2019 and my first of many trips to Paris. Itā€™s crazy to think that I havenā€™t been back to Europe since early 2020! May have to fix that this summer šŸ‘€ What destination has you daydreaming lately? šŸ“ @hotelgrandpowers

How to Survive a Red Eye Flight.. In Coach

Whether I am headed to the sandy beaches of the Greek Islands or the charming streets of Paris, it is safe to say that I have become somewhat of a pro for surviving these red eye flights. And while it may not be as comfortable as sleeping in your own bed, with a few inexpensiveĀ items, sleeping sitting up honestly isn't all that bad. This pillow design includes two straps at the back of the pillow easily strap on to any airplane seat, keeping your head upright and in place for the duration of your flight. While I typically will also wear a sweatshirt on the plane, something about having a sort of blanket drape over you makes it feel like you are that much closer to sleeping in a bed.

Treat Yourself to a Wellness Weekend in New York City

Below I have rounded up some of my favorite places to check out next time you find yourself in New York City. One of the great things about New York is that it is a city that attracts some of the best trainers in the world who will really help you to get into shape. If you are looking for a great High Intensity workout while in New York, few places do it as well as Barry's Bootcamp. Round Out Your Trip with Nourishing Food New York City is definitely known for their food and restaurants.

Take a Caribbean Vacation to Calabash Cove in Saint Lucia

If you are looking for a Caribbean escape look no further than the beautifulĀ Calabash Cove Resort and Spa on the island of Saint Lucia. As an adults-only all-inclusive resort, Calabash Cove is one of the top places to stay in Saint Lucia andĀ offers their guests a peaceful, kid-free escape from everyday life. One of my favorite things about the property is that they have a swim up bar, the perfect setup to refuel from a long flight by ordering lunch and a cold drink (ps I highly recommend their Pina coladas!) Lastly, during your trip to Saint Lucia, one of the things I would highly recommend is spending at least one night watching the sunset from Calabash Cove's beach dock.
