Kelly Sparks of Queen Bee Mixology here! While mixology is not my full-time job, it is my full-time love. You see, in addition to being the mastermind behind @QueenBeeMixology, I am also the Founder and CEO of VMG Studios, an Emmy award winning hybrid creative agency and video production studio. This set-up often means I am a busy executive by day, and a DIY bartender by night. I pour my whole creative heart into every Queen Bee recipe, photo shoot, and how-to video in hopes of helping every member of my audience discover their own inner mixologist. I am a self-taught, do-it-yourself kind of gal who has relied on Google to help me learn the perfect shaking, stirring, and garnishing techniques. My work on Queen Bee Mixology is all about making the journey to amazing cocktails accessible to everyone. When I’m not hard at work, I can be found sipping a delicious cocktail with my husband, Mark, enjoying a fantastic take-out meal at home.
Since its inception, Queen Bee Mixology has grown into a venture that includes partnerships and collaborations, a robust social media following, and a standing weekly feature on local ABC affiliate KOMO TV’s Seattle Refined show.

Cheers to good times and great company! 🌺🌴 Here’s how to make it at home: COCONUT MOJITO 𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 🥥 ½ of a Lime 🥥 .5 oz agave syrup 🥥 6 Mint Leaves 🥥 1 oz Coconut Cream 🥥 2 oz. Rum 🧊 Grab your cocktail shaker and let’s get mixing! The cocktail mixture has a perfect balance of sweet and tart, with the distinct taste of fresh, juicy blood oranges taking center stage. The Twisted Alchemy cold-pressed blood orange juice gives the margarita a bright, zesty flavor, with just the right amount of acidity to keep your taste buds dancing. I really love how the sweetness of the blood orange juice is nicely offset by the spice of the tequila. Plus, the habanero salt rim included in this lovely kit really ties all these flavor elements together. RASPBERRY SOUR❣️(RECIPE CARD) Raspberries are one of my favorite berries to work with, especially as summer time approaches. They bring a bit of sweetness and acidity that's a perfect match for this Raspberry Vodka Sour. Honestly, this is your average sour cocktail recipe with just a couple changes. To start, I decided to go for vanilla vodka to enhance the overall sweetness of the mixture and smooth out the acidity from the lemon juice. As for the raspberry element, rather than opting for a general sweetener like simple syrup, I mixed in some raspberry flavored syrup. The cocktail holds a flawless balance of sweet and sour which is my favorite!
