Pho Cardiff Restaurant Review

I'm back home in Cardiff for the weekend and my fiancee decided to treat me to Pho for lunch today, after all I'm a sucker for Asian food. [This is not a sponsored post] Before we get to the food, lets talk about the interior, simple with a rustic feel, my kind of environment. For my main course, I had the 3 meat combo rice bowl which consisted of broken rice topped with fried Chinese leaf, cucumber, pickles, radish and topped with herbs, peanuts and chillies, the meat was chicken, beef and pork. I loved that they included a good serving of vegetables and the peanuts were a nice finish, good serving too.

Date and Walnut Loaf

I love baking this time of year, it takes me back to my childhood and brings back so many memories. Besides, there's nothing better than a house filled with that beautiful smell of freshly baked good. In a medium bowl, beat flour, eggs, baking powder, golden syrup, olive oil and milk together until smooth. Pour batter into prepared baking tin and sprinkle extra walnuts and dates on top.

Dark Chocolate Brownies

I love baking and ever since I started at the age of 9, I've continued to get better and better. Something is comforting about kneading dough or whisking up some batter, so here's to a delicious batch of brownies and some hot cocoa. Preheat the oven the 180C, prepare baking pan and set aside. Sprinkle with dark chocolate chunks then bake for around 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.

Wagamama Cardiff Library

Woohoo, I have officially finished Year 2 of Dietetics.. For now, let me celebrate at my favorite restaurant with my favorite people. The best thing about Wagamama is that their meals always come out pipping hot. With a variety of dishes on offer, it can be hard to choose what to have but one this is for sure, steamed chicken gyoza is always a definite for me.
