As a member of our local community and national confectionery industry for over 70 years, the R. M. Palmer Company has always been, and remains committed to providing quality products while maintaining and protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, community, and business partners. Today, that commitment is even more important as we all do our part to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We have an internal COVID-19 task force comprised on cross-functional leaders who are monitoring the daily changes in the spread of this virus and implementing actions based on the recommendations of local, state and federal government officials, as well as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and World Health Organization (WHO). The local, state and federal governments have included food manufacturers and food retailers on the list of businesses that remain open during this crisis to help ensure that our communities’ needs are met.
