Goodbye 2020! ⠀ ⠀ 🙌🏾 best memories:⠀ ⠀ -adopting my rabbit 🐰⠀ -my 6-day solo road trip in interior B.C.⠀ -going to Banff National Park and especially Abraham Lake in February ⠀ -so many astrophotography adventures⠀ -so many hiking adventures while my friend mountain biked⠀ -finally getting to Powell River in February⠀ -so many good meals (prepared by me)⠀ ⠀ 🍃 releasing:⠀ ⠀ -abandoning my needs and desires⠀ -guilt, shame, and sorrow over events that transpired in 2020⠀ -toxic relationships that are now in the past⠀ -feeling not-good-enough ⠀ -hustle/busyness-culture ⠀ ⠀ 🤩 looking forward to: ⠀ ⠀ -getting my new-to-me vehicle so that I can go on road trips when I’m able to again⠀ -focusing on my nutritionist consulting program (and completing it)⠀ -hanging out with my family again in-person ⠀ -putting more of a focus on me and my needs⠀ ⠀ 🎉 I don't do resolutions, but have: ⠀ ⠀ -3 goals all focused on things I can fully control⠀ 🙌🏽 -a focus word for the year⠀ ⑤ -5 Ways of Being - to focus more on the ways I want to show up in the world throughout the year ....and these each have a brainstormed mind-map of possible intentions/things to do related to them⠀ 📝 -scheduled bi-monthly check-in sessions to make sure I'm on track (for each full moon and new moon)⠀ 🛁 -scheduled retreat weekends for each solstice and equinox to reflect, relax, and release...and spend a lot of time on self-care. ⠀ ⠀ #newyeargoals #reflectingon2020 #goodbye2020 #happynewyear2021 #goalsnotresolutions #happier2021 #morejoy⠀
Let’s pretend you just got hired to be the new theater teacher at the local elementary school. If possible, contact the previous theater teacher and get their advice on what shows have worked well in the past. If you have connections, you might be able to use costumes and sets from another school or community theater. Use a sturdy hand truck with casters and wheels that will keep you from carrying heavy objects
It should be pretty obvious that I like to celebrate things - life's adventures, to be precise. ⠀ ⠀ So, this year, I am starting a tradition of celebrating my 1/2 birthday (which was on December 29th) with some of my friends - virtually or otherwise. ⠀ ⠀ I got to see many of my friends online yesterday and talked to a few others on the phone. It made me feel so loved and supported. ⠀ ⠀ I know that some people have "Zoom fatigue" from using Zoom or other things too often (for work or otherwise), but I always enjoy seeing my mom and brother on FaceTime each Sunday.
