Comforting bowl of quinoa, roasted veggies, and tahini sauce with a squeeze of lime juice. Perfect for getting some energy back after an all-day cleaning session. I want to get my place clean and organized for the upcoming fall season since I will somehow be spending even more time at home, i’m sure. #vegan #veganism #vegetarian #veggie #foodporn #vegansofig #plantbased #veganlife #veganfoodshare #veganfood #vegansofcanada #whatveganseat
Summer in Whistler is also a lot of fun, with the world-class mountain bike park that is ever-expanding, lakes to jump into, and plenty of hiking trails for every ability level. Spa and salon services within hotels and also at the Scandinave Spa offer was to relax, unwind, and enjoy both time alone and time spent with friends for girlfriends weekends and special occasions. The Whistler Train Wreck Trail can be accessed starting on Cheakamus Lake Road on the opposite side of the highway from Function Junction. There are no facilities or picnic tables along this trail, but there is a nice bench overlooking Cheakamus River across from the train wreck.
I finally had the chance to check out @stuffiespastriescafe 😋 there are several fancy vegan soft serve cones available - I got the caramel one and it was soooo good! The fish shaped cone was freshly made and so soft and delicious. I can’t wait to try out the other flavours. This was a fun treat on a Saturday afternoon since the whole day was spent organizing and doing errands. #VEGANPASTRIES #VEGANSOFTSERVE #VEGANDESSERTS #VEGANICECREAM #VEGANTREATS #vancouvervegan #veganfood
1The first benefit of rehab is it can help you break the cycle of addiction. 2The second benefit of rehab is it helps you learn about addiction. If you can understand how drugs impact your brain and what triggers you to want drugs, you may be better able to manage those triggers as you work your way back into regular daily activities. 5The fifth benefit of rehab is that you begin to understand the benefit of boundaries and how to set healthy ones.
The good news is that you’re not stuck with a bad memory if you don’t want to be because there are ways to improve your brain function no matter what age you are. While you’re not going to find one that’s FDA approved, you will definitely find those which have been proven to work both in legitimate clinical studies and through actual customers who’ve tried them. A good supplement will improve all three main functions of your memory: long-term memory, word recall and spatial memory. Other than can help you include word-based recreation like crossword puzzles and word finds.
build-up and unexpected plans - ⠀ ⠀ After years of planning, booking, and cancelling birthday camping trips to and around Tofino for the past 3 years, I’d had a certain level of expectation around visiting Tofino. ⠀ ⠀ Have you seen the movie “one week?” In the movie, starring Joshua Jackson, the main character goes across Canada, with the “end” being a beach near Tofino. This “end of the world” is what I have been looking forward to seeing.⠀ ⠀ So, when I unexpectedly had plans to visit Tofino on a recent trip to Vancouver Island, naturally all the hopes and dreams I had for the area came flooding in. ⠀ ⠀ I learnt to surf! Well, I took one lesson. ⠀ ⠀ 📸 Thanks to @michaelkossin for the video clips! ⠀ ⠀ #tofinobc #surfinglessons #surfingtofino #surflesson #lessonsinsurfing #westcoastsurfing #tofinonice #explorevancouverisland #enjoyvancouverisland #pnwfemaletravel #adventureswithtazim @discovertofinobc @tourismtofino
While the human body can process and break down most of the contaminants, long-term exposure can pose serious health risks, leading to cancer diagnoses and other life-threatening illnesses. If you end up finding asbestos in your home, removing the harmful particle is the most important step to ensure the health and safety of you and your family, but who should you hire to do the job? This isn’t a small task, and just hiring someone who’s dealt with mold or is familiar with construction probably isn’t the best choice. If you find yourself needing assistance with asbestos, choose quality over ease because the benefits will pay off in the long run for you and your family’s health and happiness.
EMBRACE THE SEASON - ⠀ ⠀ Rather than mourning the end of summer, I am looking ahead to the season of leaves changing colours, fall hiking (my favourite kind), crisp weather, cozy layers, baking with lots of cinnamon, making soup, and so many more comforting things that I am so craving right now. ⠀ ⠀ "This is the time for surrendering to the cycles of nature and honouring your own transformation." - @themoon_journal ⠀ ⠀ 📍 Tofino, British Columbia. September long weekend. ⠀ ⠀ Take a look at my stories to see some of the highlights of my summer. . .so many good memories and adventures! Thanks @michaelkossin for your company. ⠀ ⠀ I would love to hear from you in a comment or DM: what are a few of your favourite memories from this past summer?⠀ ⠀ #vanisle #cowichanvalley #tofinobeaches #beachsunsets #vancouverislandsunset #labourdaylongweekend #vancouvergetawayideas #weekendgetaway #surfinglessons
Have you ever been on a solo road trip? ⠀ ⠀ I've been on a few during my life, most recently in October for 6 days. I'm someone who takes a lot of pleasure in planning the trip - this adds to the joy of the experience. Planning ahead is especially important now, as many sites will be closed due to COVID-19 or at least have a different type of reservation system in place. ⠀ ⠀ Here are a few of my top tips for getting started on solo road trips: ⠀ ⠀ ⛅️ 1. Start small. Start local.⠀ -Get out in your neighbourhood or town for a day to see things as if you were a tourist. Buy takeout from a local café that you've never visited, walk through a new-to-you park, and generally go about your day with a fresh set of eyes. ⠀ ⠀ 🌤 2. Take a day trip somewhere closeby. Being able to get back home to your own bed is very comforting! ⠀ ⠀ ☀️ 3. Choose a location for your overnight trip. Many of my favourite weekend getaways have been to places that were only 2-3 hours away. It's nice to be able to leave in the morning and have most of the day left to explore. Being so close to home is also nice in case you're worried about needing to get back home in a hurry or that you might have car troubles. ⠀ ⠀ I'll be sharing my favourite Vancouver getaways here on Instagram and also on my blog. ⠀ ⠀ #goldrushbc #goldcoastbc #likelybc #foggyfall #fallviews #autumnleaves #treereflections #soloroadtripping #womanwhoroadtrips #interiorbctravel #localbctravel #Roadtripideas
