The end of an era. I am closing the chapter. Thank you to all the beautiful clients that have entrusted me with their big days and special events. Getting to know each and everyone of you has been an incredible experience and one that I will be forever grateful for. I have learned so much and am so proud of the business I managed to create. This was not an easy decision but I know in my heart it is the right one. I am very much looking forward to seeing what the future holds, to sleeping in and to prioritising these precious times with me family. 💕
After a few months in iso I finally had a reason to do my makeup. 💕
I know. I know that times have been tough. I know that we are all struggling right now so with the restrictions easing and functions slowly starting again I want to offer my beautiful clients discounted services. We have all felt the pinch so this is my way of giving back. All special occasion bookings made between now and the end of July will receive a special price of $70 including lashes. (Normally $90). All spray tans will be $20 until the end of July and I will be doing some special promos for any weddings/ group bookings made in this time also. All appointments require a deposit to secure your date xx

How to pick the right MUA?🤷🏽♀️ When picking an mua, pay close attention. Is their work reflective of your style?are all their images from the one angle?are all their images edited? I’ll give you a secret. Virtually allllllll makeup artists edit their work. Some use minor tweaks such as lighting and softening to enhance and truly capture their beautiful work, others go ham in my opinion!Some artists will create a totally different look as to what they actually achieved in real life! Think flawless smooth skin on EVERY client. This is not realistic! 😒 It’s also good to consider the type of clients they are use to working with. I will say it, some faces are harder to work on than others. If their models are all flawless, with big full lips, big eye space, smooth and clean skin, then you need to consider if they will have the capabilities to work on all faces. We all know that certain content fits into the gram grid better than others, but I truly believe in showing genuine work, not just the highlights. ✨ Another important thing to consider is the angle of the work they upload. Every makeup artist knows that a 45 degree angle is the most flattering, you can get away with uneven brows, eyeliner, eye makeup etc and you would never know! Get yourself an MUA that isn’t afraid to show all the angles not just the super flattering ones!
