Summer is upon us and 🍒 are my favorite nutrient dense summer fruit to stock up on! Filled with antioxidant + anti inflammatory properties like anthocyanins and vitamin C, helps promotes sleep, natural pain reliever, great for your heart and packed with fiber to help weight management. You seriously can’t go wrong with these jems 🍒! Check out my favorite way to make them 👇 🍒CHOCOLATE HEMP SEED COVERED CHERRIES 🍒 This is the easiest and tastiest snack, you have just got to make! Ingredients: 1 bag cherries 1/2 bag dark chocolate 1 tbls coconut oil 1/4 cup hemp seeds Directions: Rinse your cherries and keep stem on. Line a medium baking sheet with parchment paper. Melt chocolate with coconut oil then dip cherries in chocolate and then hemps seeds, then place on baking sheet. Once all cherries are covered place in refrigerator for 30minutes to an hour. Then transfer into an air tight container lasts 7-10 days #yhhj #yourhealthyhappyjourney

Emotional stress can really throw off your hormones that is why it is sop important to make sure you are checking in daily with yourself to see what your stress levels are at. Here are 5 ways I check in with myself to make sure I am keeping my emotional stressor low. Which one will you start implementing into your daily practice? 1️⃣ Every morning spend 10-15 minutes just writing out how you woke up. Did you wake up sad, stressed, fearful, happy ect. Then explain why you feel those ways. If it’s a good emotion, we want to know why and do more of that. If it is a bad emotion we want to know what’s causing it and fix it. 2️⃣ Reflect weekly or monthly on what’s working and what’s not working in your life. Maybe you need better support from your spouse, or to be more organized. Take a non shameful approach and just objectively look at areas you want to change to decrease your overall stress. 3️⃣ Practice self-care: Taking care of yourself can help balance hormones and promote healthy blood sugar levels. This can include getting enough sleep, eating a balanced and nutritious diet, staying hydrated, and engaging in activities that bring you joy and relaxation. 4️⃣ Prioritize sleep: Getting enough restful sleep is crucial for regulating hormones and blood sugar levels. Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep each night and establish a relaxing bedtime routine to help you wind down and prepare for sleep. 5️⃣ Practice mindfulness: Mindfulness practices can help regulate hormones and blood sugar levels by reducing stress and promoting awareness of your body’s needs.
