An Easy Low Carb, Keto Meal!

BLT Chicken Salad is a creamy, healthy, low-carb alternative to a BLT Sandwich! Cook 5-6 slices of turkey bacon according to package directions. The dressing is low fat because we are using greek yogurt too. Dairy of any kind is not permitted on whole30 so by leaving out the cheddar cheese and swapping in mayo for the greek yogurt, you can make this whole 30.

Healthy Poblano Sauce with Salmon

This lean and green dinner is a healthy version of a creamy Poblano Sauce over Salmon! A pepper grown in largely in Mexico, the poblano pepper is fairly mild and can be enjoyed cooked or raw! This easy smother sauce comes together in the food processor and instead of roasting the peppers, we are going to pan-sear them! In the food processor add the yogurt, cilantro, pepper jack, garlic, and the poblano mix.

Make Healthy Black Bean Burgers at Home!

An easy-to-make black bean patty topped with delicious nacho fixings satisfies my craving for that delicious bar food experience right at home. Jalapeno Popper Creamed Corn a delicious and bright side dish with sweet corn and a creamy sauce all spiced up with jalapeño. Skinny Fiesta Corn Dip is creamy and sweet with corn and Rotel that make it a touch spicy. Black bean burgers will never firm up the way a true beef burger does, so just warm them through and crisp the edges!

Coconut Shrimp Dipping Sauce (with Air Fried Shrimp)

This is the best air fried shrimp ever and by pairing it with creamy coconut shrimp dipping sauce you won't be disappointed. Our version of Red Lobster's pina colada sauce is a crowd-pleaser with a creamy coconut flavor perfect for dipping shrimp. I find that unsweetened coconut flakes or desiccated coconut work the best. Now go try this copycat Red Lobster coconut shrimp dipping sauce recipe and let me know how it turned out!

Maybe, possibly, probably my most favorite dish to make for guests. Perhaps it’s because I know the recipe by heart? Or maybe because it’s always a huge hit? Or maybe because hosting & feeding people is a way to love people and what feels more comfortable than a big bowl of chili?! . . . Honestly no matter the time of year this chili makes it to our dinner table. It’s #nondairy yet super rich and flavorful. So head to my White Kitchen Red Wine Pinterest page and pin this baby for later! Or head to the blog and get it now. . . . This is the absolute perfect meal to bring to a new mama. Anyone else feel like they know 50 people pregnant or recently have babies?! This is super easy to re-heat or even freeze! So spoil a new mama!

Who says you can’t have a tall stack of pancakes on a Monday?! . . . I took a simple Morning Glory Muffin recipe and instead of making muffins, cooked them on the griddle like pancakes! So good 😍😍 #todaybreakfast . . . Speaking of Monday, it’s my last #30minutemonday of April! Last sheet tray meal is my roasted Ranch Brussel sprouts and chickpeas with some ranch chicken wings 😍

PSA Mother’s Day is coming up and I’ve gone ahead and put together this MOTHER BOARD. It’s loaded with all my brunchy faves and would be the perfect thing to wake up to on Mother’s Day. . . . Fruits, toast, bagels, cheeses, smoked salmon, macarons & a mimosa. Please and thank you 🙏🏼 . . . Mother Board Recipe 1. Bagels or toast (or both 😉) 2. Fresh fruit and avocado 3. 2 types of cheese (a soft and a firm!) 4. Smoked Salmon or prosciutto 5. Something sweet, I went with macarons and chocolate covered pretzels . . . 🥂 Enjoy!

Hello! Since the last time i introduced myself there are a LOT more new faces around here [thank you] I’m Sara Ayesh and I am the cook behind the camera. I have a passion for feeding my friends & family, as well as capturing that food in a way that just makes you want to dive in!⁣⁣ .⁣⁣ .⁣⁣ .⁣⁣ I started food blogging in October of 2019 and my journey began long before that with an overhaul of my diet in January. I lost some weight [25 lbs, whoop] and gained a lotta confidence. I’m committed to bringing special yet simple recipes to you. I keep my meals lean and green with a little indulgence in between (home made bread anyone?!)⁣⁣ .⁣⁣ .⁣⁣ .⁣⁣ I am married with one daughter, 2 dogs, and 6 chickens. Which now that I type out actually sounds crazy haha. ⁣ ⁣ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁣⁣ I live in a 1930s home that my husband and I completely gutted and renovated 3 years ago!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁣⁣ I’ve always had a love for all things creative. I went to school for Apparel Marketing at K-State. I was a buyer for a clothing store, a buyer for an eyeglasses boutique, and owned my own boutique before actually landing here in the foodie world. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I am so grateful to have this community that really shows up for me and tries my recipes and shares them with friends and family. Feeding people is an amazing act of love and is able to create such vivid memories for people. I am happy to be a part of that in your kitchen as well as mine. So thank you! 🍷

Saturday morning coffee just hits different 👌🏽☕️ The morning isn't as rushed around, my husband doesn't head off to work, and we can enjoy watching Frozen as a family for the 1000th time this week. 🤪

Appetizer Idea 💡 Take a store bought baguette or loaf of bread, drizzle with olive oil and throw it on the grill for some out of this world toast. . . . Top with cheeses, compound butter, fresh basil, or dip in oil & balsamic! The perfect thing to start off your at-home date night. . . . We have designated Friday as our “takeout” night of the week! Tonight we are ordering up some of our favorite things from @georgesfrenchbistro I’ll be enjoying the steak salad which comes with fried goat cheese. YES.

Hot Honey Mustard & Peach Glazed Chicken. Mustard and peaches?! Yes, you read right. The whole grain mustard plus the sweet juicy peaches make the most PERFECT glaze on these roasted chicken thighs. . . . This is a dish you want to just sit down and share with your family. It perfectly pairs with the brussel sprouts neatly packed into the baking dish. Link for this new recipe is in my bio 💕

Have you ever had creamed honey? Well, let me do you a favor & tell you it’s the breakfast condiment you never knew you needed. . . . Creamy, sweet, drizzly. Omg. Perfect on anything from biscuits to waffles, pancakes to oatmeal. This is how you do it... . . . 1/2 cup honey beaten for 4-5 minutes with a whisk attachment on a hand mixer. Done!! I made some buttermilk biscuits added blackberries & drizzled vanilla infused creamed honey allll over! 🍯

Happy Earth Day 🌍 Let’s celebrate our awesome planet today by using our favorite sustainable products! Food, drinks, products, I want to hear what are your fave sustainable items in your kitchen?!⁣⁣ .⁣⁣ .⁣⁣ .⁣⁣ Mine are my reusable cloth bowl covers, @addjoi nut milk base, my chickens! ⁣⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ Also doesn’t this shrimp curry look SO GOOD?! Click the link in my bio @whitekicthen_redwine to grab this Coconut Lime Curry with Veggie Orzo recipe⁣

Little plants, may the odds be ever in your favor. Got my herbs, veggies, and per a suggestion, some vining pea plants to vine around the chicken run. Let’s see who makes it this year 😂 . . . Last year I had tomatoes, kale, and jalapeño that did exceptionally well! My zucchini perished and my cucumbers were questionable...😬

So, do you like curry? Before you jump straight to "no" PLEASE try this recipe. This is my curry for people who "don't like curry." AKA my husband. . . . He was convinced he didn't like it but REALLY I just don't think he'd found the right blend of spices that he enjoyed! Head to my new blog, Coconut Lime Shrimp Curry and read up on what curry actually is, how to make it, & then add all the ingredients to your grocery pick up! . . . This is so bright and flavorful, the shrimp is the perfect pairing with the coconut milk and fresh lime + cilantro. I need to make this again realllll soon!
