Take a road trip to Antelope Canyon for an experience that will change your life. This isn’t just a tourist location. It’s sacred land to the Dinè and the Navajo Nation. There’s history of hiding from the US Army in these slots. The Navajo “Long Walk” began here where the nation was forced to leave their land and journey 300 miles at gunpoint by the US Military. There are humans that are our brothers and sisters that have a view of the world we need to hear. 👉Destination tip - take a tour through one of the two tour operators and ask family history and stories. The Dinè are a loving and caring people. Their story needs to be heard. This will be one of your favorite stops while exploring the outdoors around Page, AZ. Be sure to tip your guide and be respectful of their instructions. Follow @walkaboutcouple for for road trip adventures and destination tips✌️ Is Antelope Canyon on your bucket list?

Monument Valley Experience 🏜️ There’s only one way to experience Monument Valley and it’s with a sunrise Navajo guided tour. This made the landscapes come alive through the eyes of a nation that truly loves their land. We booked ours through @viatortravel (non-sponsored). Is Monument Valley on your walkabout list? #monumentvalley #navajonation #travelcouplelife

Arizona Treasure 🏴‍☠️ Located between the Grand Canyon and Page, Arizona is one of our favorite finds on Google maps. If you haven’t explored the landscapes of Arizona and Utah from Google maps then we highly recommend the exploration. This view will never get old 🥹 Located just outside Moab and guaranteed to take your breath away at sunrise. It’s located on BLM land just in between the state park and the national park, so there’s a small strip of airspace for drone footage. Like to know the exact location? DM us for directions ✌️ #keepnaturewild #moab #epicviews

Hiking Guide to Corona Arch 🥾 Believe it or not, but this arch sits outside of Arches National Park and is free to hike. It sits on BLM land and you’ll definitely find several hikers along the way. Here’s a few tips and features for future reference: 📏 The trail is 2.4 miles out and back 🐶 It is dog friendly, but they must be on a leash 🧗🏻‍♂️It is an easy trail, but there are a couple places to scramble up rocks or ladders ⌚️Best time to hike is sunrise, but sunset and star gazing is pretty spectacular 📸 Best photography times are golden hour but you’ll want to arrive early as the canyon the arch sits in will adjust the actual sunrise/sunset by approximately 30 minutes ✈️ Drones can be flown but please be aware of others around you. Others are there for the peace and tranquility…be thoughtful 🤙 🚂You will cross an active train track on the trail. It’s safe. It’s also a great location for some content. Just be careful. 💦Pack plenty of water and bring some snacks. There is limited shelter from the sun on the trail. 🎗️Save this post for future travels to Moab, Utah Is Moab on your bucket list? #coronaarch #moabutah #hikingadventures

It’s been quite the adventure… #travelcouple #adventurecouple #couplegoals

Marymere Falls Trail (📌Save this post for future travels to Olympic National Park) At 1.7 miles round trip, this hike is quite easy and very rewarding with a beautiful waterfall at the turnaround. We visited in the fall after several weeks of little rainfall. Springtime will be a different experience. There are bridges to cross and rails for support and boundaries. Please stay on the trail. This is also the trail that will fork to go up to the Storm King lookout. Very rewarding hike as well, but more challenging with a hard rating on @alltrails ✌️ Download the AllTrails map to access it offline. The trail starts at the Storm King Ranger Station with adequate parking and facilities. Do you chase waterfall hikes? #marymerefalls #olympicnationalpark #easyhike

Peaceful vibes at Byodo-in Temple is a must to experience when visiting Oahu Located inside the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park where you can experience the peacefulness of many beliefs and see the most beautiful burial destination on earth. 📌 Save this post for future travels to Oahu #byodointemple #hawaiibucketlist #oahuhawaii
