Video Support Sessions with Shannon

Shannon Berrow, RMT is now offering video support sessions, free of charge, for her existing patients. Without the ability to see patients in person, BC RMTโ€™s have no way of offering services (unlike say Physiotherapists who are able to offer โ€œtelehealthโ€ services). However, I feel it is important to offer my patients continued care. So, to support you through this time, I am offering FREE 20-minute support sessions via video call.

These sessions will not include acupuncture treatment (no self needling!!) or any herbal/supplement prescription but she will provide continued emotional, diet, and lifestyle support. I strongly support these measures towards flattening the curve for the new coronavirus to protect our most vulnerable populations and increase the odds that everyone is able to get the care they require. I will be doing my part to assist in these efforts by closing my acupuncture practice until I am given the green light by the province of BC and our regulatory body to resume practice again. That being said, I am not willing to leave any of you without the continued care and support that I know many of you may need during these challenging times.

NOTICE TO PATIENTS re CLINIC CLOSURE

Based on the increasing levels of advisories by the government and health authorities calling for social and physical distancing, we have made the difficult decision to close the clinic at this time. Effective immediately, Rocky Point Wellness Clinic will be closed until at least March 31, 2020. All scheduled appointments during this time will be cancelled/postponed and those patients will be contacted by our team. During this closure, Stacey Phillips will be offering virtual (remote) counselling services for her existing patients.

New Policies in Response to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

In an effort to protect our immune-compromised and vulnerable patient population we are implementing the following policies in response to current events: โ€ข We are requesting that patients call or email to cancel their appointment if they are currently showing any common cold/flu symptoms (the 24 hour cancellation policy will be waived). We are advising patients who have travelled anywhere outside of Canada, including the USA, to cancel and/or refrain from booking any appointments within 14 days of their return (please see the travel advisory links below). If you require continued treatment that is time sensitive despite the policies mentioned above, please contact your practitioner directly to discuss your treatment plan.
