From a very young age, both of us realised weβd have to fight arduously to earn every single opportunity that came our way! πͺπ½β¨β¨Because we were never afraid of making bold moves or closing chapters, we left everything in London, got married and embarked on a 5 month honeymoon around Asia. AND THIS CHANGED OUR LIVES FOREVER! πβ¨β¨For 5 months, we were free, in the broad sense of the word. The only responsibility we faced was always staying true to ourselves and widening our horizon. β¨β¨One day, in Thailand, after submitting hundreds of job applications (literally) and all of them coming back as a solid βnoβ, Rui heard a voice saying βhow many more doors do we have to close for you to understand that you need to build your own door and open it with your foot?!ββ¨ π¨ And thatβs how @era.agueda was born. π¨β¨ Weβre still taking care of people. β¨Weβre still spreading love. But this time weβre helping others do what we do best: chasing dreams! Because we are living proof they come true. π€β‘οΈ

WHAT TO DO AFTER AN AMAZING POOL PARTY?! β¨ππ½ We figured everyone would be hungry after the pool party (and in desperate need of fresh water - due to previous high levels of alcohol π mixed with good music and good friends ππ«) Words will never be enough to describe this day, and weβll keep saying this forever!! βΎοΈβ¨We felt SO LOVED, and gave SO MUCH LOVE! What would you do in a place like @halmanature in August, under 35Β°C?? Probably one of the most touching moments of the day!!ππΌπ We believe weβre spiritual beings living a physical experience and we are extremely sensitive to energy, as most of you might know. As our wedding was not only about us, but about love. We knew from day one that we wanted our wedding rings to pass by everyoneβs hands individually before they reached us. Eleven of our best friends, our groomsmen and women, chose our wedding rings and every single guest put their love and energy on them before we could feel them as eternally ours. ππ€ It was one of the most powerful moments of our lives!! π₯Ή Ps.: As two super mature adults, we couldnβt think of a better way to decide who would share their vows first than doing paper rock scissors. Our wedding day was not just about us. π₯Ή It was about love. We did everything in our power to ensure every single person around us felt loved, seen and heard. π« We asked every guest to dress comfortably, in pastel tones, with whatever made them feel beautiful. No formalities, no high heels. We also followed this βruleβ and wore the most comfortable clothes we could think of, along the lines of a minimalist kimono, inspired by a dear friend from Cyprus. π€π¨πΎ To every single one of those who made this day memorable, weβre forever grateful. A letter to Diana, one of the most important women of our lives. It has been more than 10 years since the Universe decided our paths should cross and, as we write this, we can only think of how and when weβll find you during our next life, and the one after thatβ¦ Because we will! π« Thank you for always being a lighthouse, even when youβre in the dark and your own light is dim. Thank you for always having the right word at the right moment, even when your own poems canβt find a way to rhyme. Thank you for being one of the most powerful women weβve ever met, always ensuring those around you are even more powerful. Thank you for showing us it is possible to be kind, loving, brave, resilient and honest all at the same time, with the same intensity. Thank you for being the best wedding celebrant we couldβve asked for. Thank you for being the best friend anyone could ask for. Our wedding day was not about us. It was about love. We found no better way of showing how much we love you, than asking 5 of your best friends to talk about you. They all said the same things. 2023, the best year of our lives! π₯π« π« We started with a toast, on our balcony, overseeing London, admiring the stars, with some of the most important people in our lives. ππ½ββοΈ We realised we could finally achieve our dream bodies, by eating properly (probably the most important part) and by learning how to workout like a beast (thanks to the Master @miguel_calafate ). π We got married and it was the first day we felt an infinite love bubble around us. The happiest day of our lives. We would live it all again if we could! βοΈ We left London, our jobs, everything and got ready for a self-discovery journey around Asia. We were one month in and we had already figured out what we wanted to do with our lives! π The following three months were all about deconstructing our inner demons and understanding weβre too small to worry about tomorrow. This will all come to an end in no time. Might as well live life the way you want! π΅ And finally, we realised we donβt belong here, online, on the front line. Making the decision of stepping away from social media completely changed our lives for the better. Weβre finally aligned with our purpose here on Earth, and youβll hear about it during the next few years. π€«π π¨ββ€οΈβπβπ¨ Weβre very grateful for everyone who crossed our path this year, good or bad it was always a lesson. This is what we loved the most about @kimptonmaalaibangkok ππ½ ππ»ββοΈ The infinity pool with amazing views over Bangkok! (The main issue was to convince Rui it was time to get out! π ) πΈ Did anyone say free drinks? Thatβs right, thereβs a social hour around the pool! We had an amazing time and met fellow travelers! π© They have the happiest 4 legged guests! Our inner child was screaming silently ALL THE TIME! π«£ π The best panoramic view in Bangkok from the 40th floor rooftop bar @bar.yard (even Rui forgot he is afraid of heights! π) A true quiet gem in the middle of such a vibrant and diverse city!
