Growing impatient wondering where the change is. Feeling dark. Wearing black & carrying so much baggage it shows. Which in todayโ€™s world becomes just another yesterday. Another statistic. Another school. Another town named without change. So how do you focus and move forward? When worst of all you are shocked at how normal this day isโ€ฆ I no longer have to explain what this means to my 14 year old because his response is โ€œanother one?โ€ After all, we already have had to wait outside an In n Out after he felt triggered from something he learned about at an Active Shooter Training he had to participate in as part of Assistant Teaching because our community has received โ€œthreatsโ€ before.
