summertime joy 🤍 North Shore friends, the Lake Forest Day carnival runs through today - one of our family’s favorite summertime traditions. ☀️ 🎡
This summer I’ve been squeezing in time for both moving and calming my mind + body so I was excited to try @getpeels , an award-winning CBD oil made from sustainably sourced orange peels. Research suggests that CBD can help ease pain and soothe joints after exercise, manage everyday stresses, and help you fall and stay asleep - all areas of my life that could use some TLC. Unlike other CBD products I’ve used in the past, the flavor of @getpeels CBD gummies and tincture is delicious (tastes like an orange creamsicle) and without a chalky or unappealing after taste. If you’re interested to try a natural CBD (without hemp or THC), add @getpeels to your routine and use my code EMILY25 to save 25% off of your order: https://glnk.io/y37kv/emily25 🍊 🍊 #PeelsPartner

Insert dream kitchen here! 🔨 🏠 ⭐️ I’ve been quiet on the recipe content front because we’ve been cooking up new kitchen and renovation plans for our 98 year old home. Plans are drawn and appliances ordered, but there’s still time for final changes. Question for you if you’ve done a kitchen remodel/build or plan on one- what are your must haves?! There are so many decisions to make and we’re triple checking them all. Can’t wait to share progress along the way. P.S. shout out to Andrew for participating 🤣🥰

Awarded the Allure Best of Beauty in 2018, ZIIP, created by founder and celeb esthetician Melanie Simon, uses nanocurrents and microcurrents to communicate with skin cells and encourages them to make an abundance of collagen and elastin. It may not be possible to visit your favorite salon frequently for a blow-out these days, but this gift makes it possible to get that salon-like treatment from home. Her gummies are dosed with CBD and/or THC with interesting flavor profiles like Cool Keylime Kiwi and Botanical White Grapefruit (not to mention there are chocolates, hard candies and fruit chews to choose from, too). These self-love holiday gift ideas include some of my favorite items that have helped me to create moments of self-care during an especially stressful year.

Work with the existing space (no breaking down walls or spending $$$$ on a home addition) We pulled out the giant, space-consuming old radiator in place of a sleek, wall-mounted European-style towel rod. We opted for a one-piece water efficient toilet and a wall-mounted sink to help save precious floor space. a vintage sink and polished brash fixtures throughout the bathroom gave us the bright and updated look we envisioned with a vintage nod to our 90+ year old house.
Traveling during a global health pandemic brings an entire new level of concerns and planning. After much consideration, we’ve decided to attend our annual family vacation in a beach home rental – considered “low risk” by experts during COVID – and will drive to help limit potential exposure. After three-months of constant family togetherness, a three-day car trip (just one way) doesn’t look all that daunting?! With some planning and a glove-compartment packed with masks and hand sanitizer, we’re looking forward to time spent outdoors in the ocean air with loved ones we do
