Can I be real for a sec? . I have dreamt of being a mom my entire life and felt so ready for this journey. As many of you know, I struggled with infertility due to PCOS. In that time I experienced so much envy, guilt, resentment, inadequacy and so many others. You would think after all of that being pregnant would be the best thing ever, but it’s HARD. . Don’t get me wrong, I am so excited to meet my little one! But everyday there are new fear unlocked; new emotions to process. At times I’ve felt so scared and isolated. I wish I could understand how some women love being pregnant when I just tolerate it. It makes me feel guilty beyond words because I KNOW how lucky and blessed I am with this baby. I just wish that I could appreciate the journey knowing how amazing the ending will be. . How can something be the best thing that ever happened to me, and also be so tough?
