The SEMA Show magically seems to grow every year in popularity, so if you plan to take the monorail, just plan ahead and give yourself extra time! This year I took Fred to the David Copperfield Show, where David literally shows you to “ The show starts with a narrated video of David and how he liked practicing magic, until he was twelve, and he threw his magic in the garbage. David made a car magically appear on stage, a UFO appear right over our heads, and his dinosaur Frank appear on stage!
The Toledo Jeep Fest is now in its third year, and every year it gets a little larger. This year, the display inside the SeaGate Centre focused on the Jeep trucks that inspired the new Jeep Gladiator JT truck that is now made in Toledo. The energy in Toledo was absolutely fabulous, with Mud Hen games all weekend long, fireworks, live music until midnight, and the annual parade on Saturday! Special thank you to Destination Toledo for making our visit to Toledo so incredible!
We arrived just around midnight and were warmly welcomed with a bottle of chardonnay and a beautiful cheese plate at the Hilton Garden Inn Toledo Perrysburg! We started with coffee and juice, we got some bacon and sausage and potatoes and we ordered the amazing French toast and a bacon and spinach omelet! We spent the morning preparing for the Toledo Jeep Fest in their business center, and then we checked out the shops at The Town Center at Levis Commons. They have a great selection of happy hour food options, and $3 beers and $4 glasses of wine!
