Budget tips for visiting the Amalfi Coast 🍋🍝🛵🇮🇹 The Amalfi Coast is definitely one of the most expensive European destinations! We spent over 2 weeks exploring the area and here are some ways we were able to do it affordably: 🍋Avoid traveling in peak season: hotel prices SKYROCKET during the summer months and it is by far the most expensive time to visit the coast. Shoulder season (April-May/Sept-Oct) is best for saving money while still enjoying nice weather. I went in October and it was incredible. 🍋Book far in advanced for the best deals: if you want to stay in the most popular towns in the Amalfi Coast like Positano or Amalfi, you need to book well in advanced if you want to book decent, affordable options. I would say at least 6 months in advanced, and even further before if you plan on visiting in summer. 🍋Don’t stay in Positano. It’s pretty much impossible to find a true budget-friendly hotel in Positano unless you stay in its only hostel. Instead, stay in less famous towns and villages like Praiano, Scala, Furore, etc. I’ve written an in-depth blog post guide to visiting the Amalfi Coast on a budget💰Comment “GUIDE” if you want me to send you the link! #amalficoast #visititaly #positanotips #positanoitaly #explorepositano #amalficoastitaly #amalficoastitaly #amalficoast_ #exploreitaly #italyiloveyou

Would you believe this paradise exists just a 1.5 hour drive from Barcelona?! 🤯 There are TONS of incredible day trips you can take from Barcelona, and this is one of them. Just north of Barcelona is Costa Brava, which undoubtedly has some of the best beaches in Spain. I recommend staying in this region for at least a few nights, but it is still definitely doable as a day trip from Barcelona. There are lots of guided tours that leave from Barcelona to this region, which is a great option if you don’t want to deal with figuring out the public transport or driving a rental car. 📍 Calella de Palafrugell is the fishing village I featured in this video, but this entire region has lots of gorgeous beaches 🥰 Save this for your next Barcelona trip!! #visitcostabrava #barcelonatips #visitbarcelona #visitcatalonia #costabravaspain #visitspain #cataloniaspain #barcelonaspain

Can you believe this town is in Spain?! 🇪🇸 Spain, like Greece, is home to lots of towns and villages with white washed houses. In Southern Spain these are known as “pueblos blancos”, or, “white towns”. This town is in Costa Brava in Catalonia, and I couldn’t help but think how much the streets reminded me of many of the towns in Greece’s Agean islands! Especially with the blue painted accents, Bougainvillea flower bushes, and of course, the beautiful seaside views! While it definitely has a similar look to many Greek towns, the culture is 100% Spanish. There are lots of great restaurants with delicious Spanish food and I definitely recommend dining at a restaurant with seaside views. This town is a very popular vacation spot for Spaniards, but is still very under the radar for international tourists 🤫 📍Cadaqués, Costa Brava Would you rather have a Spanish summer or a Greek summer? 🇪🇸🇬🇷 @costabravapirineu #incostabrava #cadaques #costabrava #costabravaspain #visitspain #visitcatalonia #cataloniaspain #explorespain

Spain’s most beautiful flower-filled city you have to add to your bucket list 🇪🇸🌸🌼🌺 Every May, Córdoba celebrates its “patios” festival, where dozens of households adorn their patios with flowers, and open them to the public. 📅 The festival typically takes place the first 2 weeks of May, when the flowers are at their peak. ➡️ If you want to avoid the huge crowds the festival brings, I suggest going the week or two AFTER the festival ends, as it will be significantly less busy, and many of the patios will still be open to the public! Most of the patios are free to enter and are donations-based - so be sure to have euro coins on hand to help support the local gardeners! ✨Here are some of the best places to see the most beautiful patios in Córdoba ⤵️ 🌸 Patios de San Basilio 🌸 Palacio de Viana 🌸 Convento Santa Marta 🌸 Calleja de las Flores (as seen in the 1st photo) 📍Córdoba is located in southern Spain and can easily be visited as a day trip from Seville via train. ➡️ Have you heard of the patios of Córdoba? ——— 👗: My white dress is from @cocopinasd 🤍 #cordoba #cordobaspain #cordobapatios #visitcordoba #visitspain #andalucia #visitandalucia #andaluciaviva #patiosdecordoba #explorespain

Save this for your future Italy trip!🇮🇹🍝🛵🍷🍋 I created this 2 week Italy itinerary for those who will be visiting Italy for the first time and want to visit the country’s most iconic places. If you’ve been to Italy already, this would still be an awesome itinerary to really get your Italy fix if you have been missing the country! 🇮🇹 ✈️ The smoothest way to start this trip is to fly into Venice, travel to Tuscany (Florence is the best base IMO), and then head south to Rome and Naples, before finishing in the Amalfi Coast (and flying home from Naples). If you’re coming from the US, flights to Rome are usually the cheapest, so you may have to adjust the pacing of this trip accordingly. Also, feel free to tweak the itinerary based on what type of trip you are looking for! If you want more beach time, you could add two days to the Amalfi Coast and skip Naples, or if you’d rather spend more time in Rome or Tuscany you could skip Venice. I suggest looking into what parts of Italy interest you the most, and using this itinerary as a base to plan your trip! Have you been to Italy yet? 🇮🇹❤️ #italytips #italytrip #italyitinerary #exploreitaly #travelitaly #italyvacation #italytraveltips // 2 week Italy itinerary // how to spend 2 weeks in Italy // first time italy trip

Hotels in the Amalfi Coast that are *actually* affordable… The Amalfi Coast is without a doubt one of Europe’s most expensive summer destinations. BUT the good news is that with a little research and planning ahead, you can find options that are more budget friendly. Obviously this doesn’t fit into a backpacker budget (though there are a few hostels sprinkled throughout the coast). But if you want to stay in a hotel but can’t afford €500+/night, these are 3 lovely options that range from €100-€200 euros per night. **keep in mind these prices will vary depending on the dates you visit. You may end up paying slightly more during high season, but this is roughly the average you can expect to pay at these hotels. Save this for your next Amalfi Coast trip! ❤️ #amalficoast #positanoitaly #exploreitaly #travelitaly #italytrip #italytraveltips #amalficoastitaly #amalficoastlovers

Save this resort for your next trip to Costa Rica! ✨🌿 @theretreatcostarica is hands down one of the most magical places I’ve ever stayed at! The resort is tucked away on the side of a mountain, with incredible views of the surrounding mountains and the sea. We left the resort feeling SO rejuvenated, and it was the perfect way to start our Costa Rica trip (especially since it’s only 40 minutes from the San José airport). Would you stay here?✨❤️ #theretreatcostarica #costaricatrip #visitcostarica #costaricatips #explorecostarica #costatricatravel #costaricavacation

Photodump from one of Europe’s most underrated cities.. 🇧🇦🕌🍲 Throwback to one of my favorite European capitals… Sarajevo! Sarajevo has so much history and culture to experience. When I went back in 2018 I absolutely fell in love with the city and I can’t wait to go back again in the future. Here are a few of the best places to visit in Sarajevo: ✨Baščaršija Market: The heart of Sarajevo’s old town, Baščaršija is a bustling market square filled with historic buildings, traditional shops, and delicious food stalls. ✨Sarajevo City Hall: A stunning neo-Moorish building houses the National Library and is a symbol of Sarajevo’s cultural heritage. ✨Latin Bridge: This is a historic bridge where the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand happened , offering a picturesque view of the Miljacka River. ✨Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque: One of the most beautiful mosques in the Balkans, this Ottoman-era masterpiece is known for its intricate architecture and serene courtyard. ✨Sarajevo Tunnel Museum: A museum showcasing the underground tunnel used during the siege of Sarajevo in the 1990s. ✨Sarajevo Cable Car: For panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains, take a ride on the Sarajevo Cable Car up to Trebević Mountain. ✨Sarajevo War Childhood Museum: Dedicated to the experiences of children during the Bosnian War, this museum offers insights into the human impact of conflict. This museum really had a profound impact on me and is a must-visit. ✨Skakavac Waterfall: Just outside Sarajevo, Skakavac Waterfall is a stunning waterfall surrounded by lush forest trails and is perfect for hiking and relaxing in nature. Have you considered visiting Sarajevo? #sarajevo #visitbosnia #bosniaandherzegovina #bosniaherzegovina #sarajevotrip #visitsarajevo #travelbosnia #bosniatraveltips

THIS is what it’s like to experience authentic Costa Rica 💚👇 On my recent trip to Costa Rica, I got the chance to visit the small village of El Cocal with @under30experiences. A lovely local family welcomed us into their home, where they taught us how to make empanadas and friendship bracelets. We got to learn about what life is like in the village, and practice our Spanish with the family. I know most people only stick to the tourist hotspots in Costa Rica, and while they are touristic for a reason, I think you are doing yourself a disservice if you only stay in the most popular tourist areas of the country. This ended up being my favorite experience in Costa Rica! @under30experiences has an amazing cultural immersion program, where all of their trips have an activity where you get to interact with the local community and experience the true culture of the country. If you’re interested in going on a group trip with @under30experiences (which I highly, highly recommend!) you can use code “wanderer” to get $100 off any of their trips Link in bio to sign up 💚 #under30experiences #U30x #costaricatips #costaricatrip #visitcostarica #manuelantoniocostarica #manuelantonio #explorecostarica

Save this for your next Greek islands trip! 🇬🇷 This tiny island in the Ionian Sea by far has the prettiest water I’ve seen in Greece. It’s known for its white-sand, Caribbean-like beaches. It’s also uninhabited aside from one hotel so it’s home to stunning, unspoiled nature (and some friendly cats!). 📍Antipaxos, Greece You can reach Antipaxos via water taxi from Corfu or Paxos. The island is very small and you can spend a day hiking around and beach hopping!
