Officially welcomed @bounce_delray to the community this weekend! Located inside the former Delray Beach Market, Bounce is a ‘premier high end sports bar🏈 and live music🎶venue’ with a definite late-night club vibe. The TVs are enormous, so it’s bound to be a great spot for watching games🏀, fights🥊etc. I’m looking forward to going back for the food. Happy 6 years, @rogercbrown. I love you🫶🏼 📸Annual Caribbean island holiday trip, Dec 2022 📍St. Lucia 🇱🇨 This will forever be one of our most memorable experiences together. The backstory: Roger booked us a full day tour with a private driver to hit all the best spots to see and things to do on the island. There were a few specific things he asked to make sure were on the list, and the driver assured us we would see everything and have the best day. Roger even mapped out the route he thought made the most sense, but the guide insisted he knew a better way. Of course we trusted him; he was the local guide. We ended up spending more time in the car than doing ANYTHING. His idea of showing us the island was telling us about things as we drove past. We never stopped for lunch. The spot he wanted to take us for drinks was completely shut down. The botanical gardens were closed for the day. We DID see the Sulphur Springs, thankfully, but that was it. Oh, and the cooler the driver brought for us only had local beers, so I couldn’t even have a drink. 7 hours of our ONE full day in St. Lucia down the drain. My frustration was hard to hold back. I cried on the way back to the hotel. 😭 We came back to @hotelchocolatsaintlucia (which was incredible btw) to go on a sunset cruise on the hotel’s boat. At that point I was not in the mood. We both were so annoyed and let down. Well…come to find, it was a PRIVATE sunset cruise. Just the 2 of us. The hotel provided us with drinks and snacks, and transportation to/from the dock. We met @captain_cream_ who had the best energy. We listened to music, sailed around the island, saw a rainbow and watched the most beautiful sunset. The evening turned out better than anything I could have ever imagined. After what was probably the worst day of vacation we have ever experienced, it ended so blissfully perfect. It made me realize that no matter what life hands us, we make it work. Good or bad. If you’ve gotten this far, good for you.👏🏼 The moral of the story? Don’t make me cry, or Rog will have it out for you. He wrote a very long and detailed email to the tour company and got a full refund. Lol. The end.

Quick trip to Austin. 🤠 1. Beautiful lobby bar at @fairmontatx. First stop (and favorite outfit) of the trip to kick things off! A 2. Cocktails at @augustinecocktailbar. Came in here because the sign outside said “best☕️martini” so I mean, obviously we had to try it. 3. Breakfast at @carolinerestaurant. Spinach & feta egg white🍳omelet, crispy potatoes🥔and GF bread. Delish! 4. Cocktails at @maiedayaustin. The ‘Berrily Blooming’ with blackberry & blueberry🫐gin, creme de cassis, elderflower, lemon🍋and soda. 5. Brunch at @abarestaurant. This place was excellent. Crispy short rib hummus with grilled onions🧅, sherry and beef jus…and they had GF crackers! This was just one of a few things we had. All so good! 6. BBQ brisket🥩and ribs🍖at @terryblacks_bbq. This place operates like an extremely well-oiled machine. What an experience! 7. Lots of good shopping🛍️and bars/restaurants🍽️in SoCo. 8. Dinner and drinks at @emmerandrye, but this is the only picture I took. 🤦🏻‍♀️ 9. Brunch at Group Therapy, the restaurant inside @hotelzazaaustin which is probably one of the most unique and interestingly decorated boutique hotels🏨I have ever seen. These deviled eggs🥚were amazing! Traditional, prosciutto🥓and caviar. 10. Favorite cocktail🍹bar we went to: @halfstepbar. Great vibes, super cool bartender. Not pictured is the comedy show🎭we saw at @comedymothership, live music🎶at @friendsbaratx, seeing the Capitol Building and more general exploring the city.
