We managed to snap a few fall photos before all the leaves fell...and before all the snow arrived 🙈 (seriously, there's a foot of it in the backyard)⠀ ⠀ It's hard to believe this one is eleven months old already and that I'm 18 weeks pregnant, too. This is going to be some new territory for me - I'm an only child so navigating raising siblings is all new! Any tips for this mama?⠀ Please share them with me below!!!⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #myhygge #fallvibes #starbuckscup #happyfallyall #pslseason #cornerofmyhome #hobbylobbyfinds #makehomebetter #mybohoabode #habitandhome #makehomematter #wowusweekdays #canadiankids #theeverygirlathome #heyhomehey #howwelive #sharemysquare #coffeedaily #mybackyard ⠀ #thehappynow #calgarymom #momblogger #cockapoo #spoodle #dogsofinstagram #howihome #18weekspregnant #11monthsold #2under2
For safety and peace of mind, I purchased the Boon SOAK 3-Stage Baby Bath Tub and used it inside of our existing bath tub. This little ducky floats in the tub and lets you know if the water is too hot for your little’s skin. This fun play set is great in the bath or pool, but also fun if you let your kiddo pretend to fish while you hide and give the line a tug when you attach a fish (to simulate real fishing!). Once baby had more hair, we needed to move on to a deeper cleansing shampoo which is when we started using Hello Bello’s Tear Free Extra Gentle Shampoo & Body Wash (there’s a conditioner, too, if your babe needs the extra moisture for their locks!).
Kitchen Organization ✨ I often feel like some of the spaces in our kitchen get left behind when it comes to home organization and that a little can go a long way to making this space more functional for your family’s day-to-day. To help you with this, I’ve partnered with @bedbathandbeyondca to share my favourite solutions to making your kitchen a more functional and organized space! From helpful shelves and drawer organizers to caddies to keep things tidy, head over to StyledtoSparkle.com for everything you need to know! #bedbathandbeyondca #AD
I often feel like Thanksgiving sneaks up on me in the middle of fall, but either way, I love when the Canadian holiday arrives! These mini white pumpkins were sourced from a local grocery store, as was the bouquet of coloured corn that can be seen on the buffet cabinet that houses the bar. Just like my plates, I love white serving dishes, too. The only additions I made to my regular dishes, flatware and serveware to make this feel like a Thanksgiving table are the live flowers and mini pumpkins.
City Views ✨ When searching for the right car seat for our little one, we knew we needed a seat that would allow her to look out the window! She loves to watch where we're going and observe her surroundings so the @nuna_canada RAVA Convertible Car Seat was the perfect choice! Fave Features: Did you notice the cupholder? My other fave feature is the little side tabs that hold the seat buckles making it easier to get her in (no more digging for straps underneath her once she's seated!) I love this view of the Calgary skyline, the Saddledome and Stampede Grounds! Iconic Calgary! #travelwithnuna #nunarava #nuna_canada * AD
This way you’ll know what potential structures, bins, baskets, hangers, that you’ll need. If your closet is basic or hella custom, here are some of my favorite items for keeping items at their best: Velvet Hangers: I recently switched the majority of my hanging clothing to velvet hangers. : I like to keep items that I don’t wear often on the higher shelves of my closet in coloured/opaque bins with labels on them. Keep your items together: If you share a closet with a partner, be sure to keep your items together and their items together, not mixing them up.
So, let's just go ahead and pretend that it's still fall and that the trees aren't covered in frost and snow! I took some super fun fall photos and I guess I did so just in time! I'm still planning on posting them because with how long our winter is here in Canada, you're bound to get tired of seeing me in the snow! Since I'm having a more fall/winter pregnancy this time around as opposed to the summer/fall one I had last year (yes, last year!), I've added a few cute new pieces to my maternity wardrobe - like this adorable cardigan from @pinkblushmaternity (all the details available on my blog - link in bio). #prettyinpinkblush #17weekspregnant * gifted
That’s why I’ve partnered with my friends at Bed Bath & Beyond to share the products that I love for keeping my pantry organized! It’s not only easier to find things, it makes it easier to put things away, too. Dry goods can start to look alike, especially things like baking powder, soda, cornstarch, flour, etc. Keeping things in a similar “set” of containers is really what helps things to appear more tidy, especially on open shelving.
Bath Time 🛁 A functional space that I could make fun and safe for baby bath time was super important to me. I was able to partner with my pals at @buybuybabyca to create this! From the perfect baby bathtub to the right bath and body products, hooded towels and other bath linens, they had everything I needed. I was also able to pick up this amazing whale set that made bath time comfortable for me, too, while adding a cute touch of whimsy to the space! Head over to my blog to see all the details (plus peek at the bathroom renovation if you haven’t already!). If you don’t have time to pick up the items you need in person, you can always order online or get them same-day with curbside pickup! #buybuybabyca #ad
Hey there! I'm super excited about this weekend! Tomorrow I'm going to be sharing my story (in business + blogging) as the October Guest Speaker for @realbizmoms' Brunchin' Bossmoms. With that in mind, and because some of you are new to StyledtoSparkle, I wanted to share a bit about me! I'm a wife, mom and dog mom. I have a 10 month old little girl and am expecting another little girl at the end of March (16 months apart for those of you doing mental math)! You might also see our first born/fur baby Hattie pop up in my feed every now and then. I've been blogging for over 5 years now and I absolutely love what I do. I've had an interesting path of careers (yes, plural) that has lead me here. I always consider myself to be a blogger first and an influencer second. I love to write and share my projects and travels and things that I've learned and a longer format like blogging allows me to do that (StyledtoSparkle.com). I'm outdoorsy but love interior design. I love to stay snuggled at home but love to travel the world. I've taken sommelier courses because my love of wine took me in that direction. You might see sponsored posts on my feed. That's what I do for a living, BUT I'm always and only sharing what I love - paid or not! If you met me at Costco, I'd likely recommend something to you that I love 🙈 This job allows me to do what I was already doing - but for a living. My goal is to be accessible to my audience. My inbox is full of DMs from you asking me questions about how to re-organize your pantry or renovate your mud room and I LOVE it. I think that's my favourite part about this job.
