COACH SUMMIT 2021 ✨

Getting back into the habit of writing and reading my vision for my life each day. ⁣ ⁣ One of my goals I write in each month is weekly days nights with my fiancé.⁣ ⁣ We work opposite shifts ⁣ Me: 12 hour nights three times a week⁣ Him: 8 hour days five days a week⁣ ⁣ It’s hard to learn to continue to grow a strong relationship while seeing each other in passing and between sleeps ⁣ ⁣ But sitting and having intentional time at least once a week reminds me why I can’t wait to marry this man. ⁣ ⁣ • My big scary goals .. don’t scare him ⁣ • My ideas about buying another house with land and a lake … don’t seem insane ⁣ • My dreams of turning my side hustle ➡️ full time… makes him just as giddy ⁣

YOUR LIFE IS PICTURE PERFECT 📸⁣ No matter what it looks like ⁣ ⁣ It’s so easy to get caught up in the beautiful “feed worthy” posts and comparison of why your house, life, kids, financial situation, etc isn’t like hers.⁣ ⁣ I promise to always keep it real because even I get sucked into feeling guilty and comparing myself to staged professional photos.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Today looked like:⁣ • an argument with my S.O. about dumb shit⁣ • having breakfast made for me ⁣ • team cleaning the house ⁣ • selfishly taking time to myself to get my workout in ⁣ ⁣ && now ⁣ A PILE OF LAUNDRY AS BIG AS ME ⁣ ⁣ Stop comparing yourself to staged photos and learn to blissfully live your LIFE ⁣ ⁣ 🧺Piles of laundry means you have clothes to wear ⁣ 👣Muddy footprints on the floor means you have places to go ⁣ 🏡A mortgage/rent bill means you have a roof over your head ⁣

BECOME THE QUEEN OF YOUR OWN MINDSET👑 ⁣ ⁣ Everyday ask yourself:⁣ • is this going to help me build toward my goals ⁣ • is this going to benefit my relationships ⁣ • is this going to benefit my health ⁣ • is this going to benefit my personal growth ⁣ ⁣ Put your blinders on, focus on what’s in front of you and what you want to accomplish ⁣ ⁣ Focus fiercely on where YOU want to be in your life instead of focusing on how you “aren’t doing it as well as ___”⁣ ⁣

How do grow your relationships when life seems like it’s moving at light speed?⁣ ⁣ We work opposite shifts and my days off being a night shifter are usually spent sleeping while he’s awake ⁣ ⁣ One of my goals/intentions this month was to have weekly date nights (or days)⁣ ⁣ Although we may not get around to it every week ... we are getting better at it.⁣ ⁣ Yesterday, he surprised me with a date day he planned for us that included brunch and shopping at the farmers market. ⁣ ⁣ I’m realizing that going on a “date” doesn’t have to be extravagant or over the top. It’s spending uninterrupted, intentional time with the one you love. ⁣ ⁣ What are some of your favorite dates/adventures you’ve taken?

JUNE INTENTIONS ✨⁣ One health related⁣ One self-care related⁣ One FOR ME ⁣ One “relationship” related⁣ ⁣ I wanted to start this month with intentions that will make me 1% better everyday. ⁣ ⁣ Starting and completing a 30 day challenge with my accountability group to show that we can do hard things 💪🏾 especially when those hard things will help us FEEL better .⁣ ⁣ Taking time to journal my thoughts and things that I am grateful for to help my bad days seem a little less dreadful. ⁣ ⁣ Taking my mf medications. These past few months have been a mental low for me.. not the worst I’ve been but definitely not where I want to be. Telling myself consistently that some of my serotonin is store bought and that’s OKAY! ⁣ ⁣ Remembering to spend intentional time with my fiancé. We live together but heading back to work this month after two weeks off intentional time sometimes will have to be specifically scheduled. ⁣ ⁣ What are some of your goals this month? ⁣ ⁣

This past year and a half or so has been so trying on all of us. Adapting to something new is always scary but something we did prove as a community is that we found a way to still support and connect with each other from afar, and for that I am grateful. Over the past year and a half I have graduated nursing school, started working in the ER, bought a house, and got engaged to the love of my life. As more and more people are able to get vaccinated it brings hope and excitement for the future that is to come with connecting and reconnecting with those that we love. ⁣ ⁣ We are #OneStepCloser to my grandparents meeting my fiancé for the first time and seeing the house I bought for myself. ⁣ ⁣ #OneStepCloser to having those I love attend my wedding with less restrictions, one step closer to being able to travel to more states and cities and meet more of my virtual friends who have become such a big part of my life. ⁣ ⁣ What are you excited to be #OneStepCloser to doing once you’re fully vaccinated? Give yourself time to 𝘽 𝙍 𝙀 𝘼 𝙏 𝙃 𝙀 .⁣ ⁣ I took my NCLEX almost a year ago today and jumped head first into the world of nursing during a pandemic. ⁣ ⁣ The “go go go” aspect of the ER trickles down into my personal life way more often than I would like to admit.. if I let it go on too long it feels like I’m running in circles with no end game.⁣ ⁣ Taking time off should be a priority for you without feeling guilty.⁣ ⁣ You are replaceable as an employee ⁣ Your life is not.
