I can’t believe it’s already been 1 week since my surgery. I am feeling SO much better. 🤗 To wake up without stomach pain and nausea just feels amazing. I can’t wait to get back into my normal routine and start working out again. (Hopefully my sleep improves because that’s been my only struggle.) I’m going to start next week. Just getting my body moving will make me feel that much better. 💪 On another note, my belly button looks a little better. Poor thing has been through 3 pregnancies and 2 laparoscopic surgeries. 13 days of nausea, fatigue and stomach pain, 1 urgent care visit (was told I had a kidney stone), 1 doctor visit, 4 rounds of blood work, 2 CT scans, 2 trips to the ER (first trip they kept me for 21 hours and blamed my symptoms on constipation even after seeing I had appendicitis on my CT scan that was done 2 days prior), 29 hours in the hospital total and I FINALLY had my appendix removed. They also discovered that I had a ruptured cyst on my right ovary which was not helping my situation at all. 🏥 If you’ve been following along in my stories, you know I’ve gone through hell and back these past two weeks. This photo was taken right after I found out I was having surgery. I’ve never been happier for a surgery or medical procedure in my life. I cannot live with those symptoms any longer. We found a delicious new family friendly pizza spot in the Lake Norman area. 🍕 @iniziopizza invited my family and I in to check out their restaurant. This place has such a cool and laid back vibe. You order at the counter and your food and drinks are then delivered to your table. The food is SO good!! Especially the pizza!! I also love that they have indoor AND outdoor seating. This is 36. ✨ These past few days have been a whirlwind. On Saturday I turned a page and turned 36. I had a relaxing day with family and fun night with friends.
