The first recorded strike in history took place in ancient Egypt in 1152 BC. Now 3000 years later history repeats for our industry. For those not aware of what’s happening @sagaftra our union is striking after failing to come to an agreement with the AMPTP in many areas including residuals and AI. It’s the first strike since 1986 and it’s extremely important for actors and our industry that we take a stand. #sagstrong #sagstrike

I’m in London for the first time in a while, producing and acting in our ‘Stepping into Shakespeare - Live in London! presents Twelfth Night - a night in Illyria’ podcast and event! We have a beautiful location in central London and a really talented cast and director and I feel very lucky to be doing Shakespeare in the UK. We are kindly supported by @swissculturalfund who have been so helpful in enabling us to take our idea for this event and podcast off the page and into reality. My amazing producing partner @theresetheurillat and I have been really busy with rehearsals and organization, most of it transatlantic. I am playing Viola, one of my favorite roles and we also have some excellent musicians helping us with the score and music for the night. EXIT is premiering as an Official Selection of the San Diego International Film Festival next week Friday Oct 21st, in its West Coast Premiere. The film shines a light on the issue of human trafficking and is one of 10 films to be screening in the festivals new Women’s Series sponsored by the Women’s Museum of California. Both the SDIFF and the museum are combining their efforts to highlight female filmmakers, to support women filmmakers and the need for investment funds to bring more films to the screen.
