But for Pinky to share the importance of publicity for small businesses, it only validated the craft to people who may not be familiar due to her level of success in business. So here’s a key lesson in earned media and thought leadership: ✅Showcase your expertise often and remain known for your unique skill set. ✅Know that the importance of word of mouth is extremely relevant even in the digital space.. It's still one of the most effective ways to garner leads. In this case the earned media tactic here was word of mouth although through a social media lens. I’ve received about 15+ leads from being tagged in the post and will be working on a restaurant grand opening. 🍽️😋 If you are curious about publicity to kick off your new year, type “PR” in the comments and let’s get to work.
