Beach days are the best! 🏖 Am I right? It's been a while since we felt the sand under our feet so we all thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sutton on Sea beach yesterday! We headed there to volunteer with the charity @riverbeachcare who were our chosen charity in July for @raisingearth and we decided to make the most of our visit before and after our beach clean. Sustainable travel is all about giving back as you go and volunteering is one of the best ways to do that. Ice Skating! We took the girls ice-skating for the first time at the weekend and despite there being a bit of apprehension at the start and a few slips and slides we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves 🙂 Trying new things and stepping out of their comfort zones is really boosting their confidence 💪 Not sure what the next thing we'll try will be but between us we've come up with quite a list! We had so much fun trying out a bit of archery yesterday @ruffordabbeycp 🎯 Turns out Sharon (mum) was the best shot but everyone did so well! The weather was beautiful and we spent the rest of the day exploring the beautiful grounds of Rufford Abbey Country Park - definitely worth a visit, we'll be back for sure! This year we know we won't be travelling as much as we would like so instead we're focusing on new experiences and skills. Next up is ice skating! Have you had a go at archery as a family?
