Besides gin, tequila is my favorite liquor, and margaritas are one of my favorite cocktails. That’s why I’ve created the perfect spicy margarita, just in time for National Margarita Day. If I were still living in Florida, I’d be heading to my favorite Mexican restaurant, Avocado, for a pitcher of their house margaritas on this national holiday. In case spicy isn’t your cup of tequila, I’ve created a refreshing hibiscus margarita too!

Scott opted for a slate blue wall color, had dark curtains drawn 24/7, and the bare minimum décor wise. Scott’s bedroom used to include a bed, no headboard or footboard, a dresser from his childhood, and a nightstand. We lucked out and found a midcentury style set that included a headboard, footboard, and two dressers for $100 on Facebook Marketplace. I love to read in bed, but my lamps were so far away from the bed.

My favorite way to spend time with my mom is going treasure hunting, although I do go by myself too. I constantly have my phone out doing research on items I find, or texting my mom. Some of my favorite things to look out for are brass items, midcentury swung vases, vintage wooden & gilded frames, and crystal. There’s one Goodwill in particular that my mom and I have stopped going to because they are lacking in high quality inventory, and during COVID the patrons refused to social distance or wear masks.

After months of being unemployed, countless job interviews without positive results, and feeling really down I decided create something to help others. Instagram and blog posts about makeup are great, and definitely my favorite to create. A full collection should be able to create basic looks and glam looks.
