6 Foolproof Ways to Become a Consistent Blogger

For example, let’s say you wrote a blog post on how to start a money-making blog. I’ve been working on doing this with my blog posts and it has saved me plenty of time and helps when I can’t think of any new ideas to create. Although some people may post on their blog multiple times per week, that doesn’t mean you have to do the same. There’s no perfect number for you to post each week or month, however, you don’t want to put too much on your plate and then end up not posting at all.

5 Common Face Washing Mistakes to Avoid Making

You want to make sure you’re washing your face correctly, especially if you want to achieve healthy, clear skin and combat your concerns. You’ll know when you have the perfect cleanser when your face still feels good after washing it. : The Best 6 Face Cleansers for Sensitive Skin Washing your face once or twice per day is normal, however, it shouldn’t be done more than that. Start your routine off by washing your hands to avoid this mistake.

6 Natural Hair Mistakes to Avoid on Your Journey

If you want to stay on the right track, it’s important to learn which natural hair mistakes to avoid. Here are some tips that have helped me combat dryness: * Use heavier products for my strands Instead of trying to follow someone else’s routine, I had to pay attention to how my hair responded to certain techniques and products. As a natural hair blogger, I’ve tried a variety of products since starting my journey which has been a good and bad thing. If you’re newly natural or in the process of returning natural, keep these mistakes in mind and try to focus on the health of your curls.

Black-Owned Brands That’ll Keep Your Nails Beautiful

Whether you’re looking for press-on nails, polish, or products to keep your nails strong, you’ll find that in this post. Their mission is based on diversifying beauty in nail care and keeping women of color in mind while designing different shades of polish. I love that her brand amplifies representation in the beauty industry and doesn’t contain toxic ingredients! I love that they strive to feature their nail polishes on different shades so that others can find a brand that celebrates them and their beauty.

Can I post a throwback on a Wednesday? I remember I posted this on my IG stories a few months ago before I started getting comfortable with full body pictures again. This is back when I was still transitioning to natural hair!⠀ ⠀ Don’t let your negative self-talk keep you from stepping outside of your comfort zone and posting what you want. Anyway, I’ll be back with new content soon! Thank you to the ones who have continued to engage with me and DM me! Y’all are bomb. ✨⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ #afroliciouswomen #naturalgirlsrock #blackboldandnatural #browngirlbloggers #curlynaturalhair #curlyhairgoals #cwkgirls #naturalhairsistas #naturalhairblogger #naturalistas #blackfashionista #transitioninghair

Happy Texture Tuesday! ✨ How long did it take you to accept and fall in love with YOUR texture/curls? ➿⠀ ⠀ I can’t lie, when I first did my big chop I was disappointed. I expected to have those loose curls I saw some of my favorite Youtubers have. I had a certain image in my mind of what I wanted my curls to look like and when I saw that wasn’t the case, I wanted to get a relaxer again. 😞⠀ ⠀ Fast forward to now, I’m happy I decided to learn how to take care of my curls and love my beautiful texture. Our textures are UNIQUE and it’s not supposed to look like someone else’s! Take the time to figure out which techniques and products work the best for you and see what your curls can do! ✨⠀ • ⠀ • ⠀ • ⠀ • ⠀ #texturetuesday #afroliciouswomen #hair2mesmerize #naturallyshesdope #healthynaturalhair #charlotteblogger #charlotteinfluencer #blessedwithkurls #naturalhairblogger #highporosityhair #naturalistas #naturalhairsistas

‼️How do you refresh your hairstyles in the morning?‼️ I’ve always received questions about how I maintain my wash & go’s and it’s simple: I put my hair in mini pineapples, wear a bonnet every night, then fluff it out the next morning with water + oil. While you’re refreshing your curls, don’t forget to pamper your skin too! 🧖🏽‍♀️⠀ ⠀ In your morning routine, you can throw on the @patchology Rejuvenating Eye Gels to eliminate puffiness, fatigue, and dryness. I rarely get a full 8 hours of sleep and it shows in my eyes how exhausted I am. However, wearing these gels will wake up those tired eyes + provide a refreshing feeling! 🌬 ⠀ • ⠀ • ⠀ • ⠀ #unconditionedroots #washandgo #naturalhairsistas #afroliciouswomen #naturalhairblogger #naturalgirlsrock #teamnaturalhair #naturalhairtips #hair2mesmerize #amazingnaturalhair

Happy Friday! ✨ I know I’ve been a little m.i.a lately and I’m trying my best to get it together. How do you stay motivated as a Content Creator? I haven’t been able to think of ways to put my ideas into action and I feel like I’ve hit a block. 🙅🏽‍♀️⠀ ⠀ You can be passionate about doing something but still lose the motivation to continue at times. From the outside looking in you may think certain bloggers have it made but you don’t see the struggle behind the scenes either! Burnout is real and it’s important to take time away to figure out which direction you’re moving in at times. ✨⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ #charlotteblogger #charlotteinfluencer #blackfashionista #afroliciouswomen #blackgirlswhoblog #teamnaturalhair #naturalhairsistas #fashionmoments #fashionvibes #girlswithcurls

Happy Wednesday Maddy Squad ✨ My body wasn’t prepared for this temperature drop this week 🥶 I can deal with anything in the 60s and 50s, but anything lower than that, I can’t stay out for long.⠀ ⠀ Getting these full body pictures is harder than it looks, especially when the wind is blowing and your photographer is also complaining about the cold lol. But I won’t stop 💪🏽. Hope y’all enjoy your day!⠀ ⠀ Outfit Deets ‼️⠀ • Trench Coat 🧥: @justfabonline ⠀ • Booties 👢: @justfabonline

✨ACHIEVE POPPIN WASH & GO’S✨ Hey Maddy Squad 👋🏽 What are some things you do on wash day to ensure you achieve a moisturized, defined wash and go? ➰⠀ ⠀ In this short clip, I’m showing you the steps I follow for my wash and go. First of all, you want to make sure your hair is free from product buildup. You can’t achieve your best results if your hair isn’t clean. I always style my wash & go’s on soaking wet hair! 💦 That’s the only way I’m able to retain moisture for my #highporosityhair ✨⠀ ⠀ Next, I add a moisturizing leave in conditioner and then use a wide tooth comb to detangle the section completely. Then I make sure to apply an oil as my sealant so I can lock in that moisture! Finally, I use a gel/custard for extra hold + definition and sometimes shingle areas that don’t curl much; but usually I can get away with the rake method.⠀ ⠀ Make sure you click the link in my bio and read the blog post: “Achieve a Poppin’ Wash & Go Every Time” where I talk about steps to follow, my favorite products to use for wash & go’s, and how to maintain your style throughout the week. ✍🏽

Hey Maddy Squad 👋🏽 How are y’all feeling today? Me? I’ve been sick for the past week and some change and haven’t done a thing. My hair hasn’t been washed, I haven’t recorded any new content, and I’ve been trying to pull myself together. I will be back on it soon!⠀ ⠀ This is your daily reminder to NOT push yourself too much. If you’re constantly on the go and don’t give yourself time to rest, you will make yourself sick. I’ve been taking a break from posting a couple of days and it has felt great. ✨⠀ ⠀ Also, I have a new blog post up about toxic relationships. Make sure you check that out when you can this week! 💋

Hey Maddy Squad! 👋🏽 What are your plans for this weekend? Here is #MaddysTips for your Saturday ⬇️⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Have you checked out my latest blog post on increasing your engagement on Instagram organically? I always receive questions about this and in the post I talk about some mistakes you could be making that will cause your audience to NOT engage with your content:⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ • Are you consistent with your content?⠀ • Is your content attractive + valuable?⠀⠀ • Do you ENGAGE with OTHERS? 👀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Those are some of the tips I mentioned in the post along with a few more, but it’s important to remember that this isn’t a ONE-SIDED community. In order to receive engagement, you have to support others too. Leave genuine comments, build connections, and respond to your own comments! ✍🏽

Have you used an Eye Gel or Lip Gel Mask before? @patchology sent me their Keep Smiling Tea-Infused Lip Gels + Tea-Infused Eye Gels and I love them so far! This was my first time using anything like this and it was interesting. ✨⠀ ⠀⠀ We can’t be walking around this upcoming Winter with dry lips. Using this Lip Mask that contains Lavender and Coconut is perfect for soothing + hydrating your lips and also helps you destress from the relaxing scent of Sweet Violet. I loved the tingly sensation it gave my lips and it felt soft afterwards! 👄 ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ They have different eye gels to choose from and the one I used is called Down Time which is made with Calendula, Lavender, + Evening Primrose. It’s anti-inflammatory and softens & tones the skin. Once you remove these you want to use your ring fingers to pat in the leftover serum! 💦⠀ ⠀ I’ll be trying a different set of eye gels they sent and I’ll be back with another review for my morning routine. Until then, check out their website and see the other products they offer! 🌱

#ad | Is your skincare routine prepared for the colder months? ❄️ Since the cold weather is approaching, it’s important that we make sure our skin stays healthy and moisturized, not only just our face but all over! 💦⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ @vaselinebrand has a new All-Over Body Balm that’s perfect to have with you at all times! One thing I love about this Balm is how convenient it is: you don’t have to worry about a mess, it’s easy to apply, and you can take it with you where ever you go since it’s travel-friendly. ✈️⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ Make sure you head over to my IG stories to see where you can find this product and other ways you can use it in your beauty routine! Will you try this out to fight dry skin with me? 👊🏽 #vaseline

✨STYLING MY MOM’S HAIR✨ | I used @mysoigne’s Hair Cream + Flaxseed Gel to style my mom’s wash and go the other day! SWIPE ➡️ to see my mom’s hair growth in one year. We did her big chop Nov. 2018 and her journey has been beautiful to watch! I know someone will ask, but I do NOT know my mom’s hair type, however, she has high porosity hair and tighter curls in the back/looser in the front like me!⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ This was my first time using @mysoigne products on her hair and they worked great. Both the Hair Cream + Flaxseed Gel have bomb SLIP and moisture 💦! I love the new formula for both products! The cream + gel used to be thicker but now it’s more creamy and easier to work with. My mom loves her results and we will be using these again!⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ I never thought that my mom and I would be embracing our natural hair together. Teaching her how to take care of her hair has been exciting (sometimes frustrating lol) but I’m proud of her. Happy almost one year natural-versary mom! 🙌🏽
