1 year ago today I found out that I passed the NCLEX!! That will forever be one of my proudest days! Flash forward to now I’m working full time as a nurse educator, training another educator and working on completing my PAP certification. Cheers to one year of being an RN - it’s been a good one. Looking forward to what next year has to bring 💕 Tell me your fave new grad memory

It’s easy to show off the royale toilet paper when you already use it daily! This toilet paper is SO soft, and 12 rolls of tough toilet paper actually equals 24! The best part? Royale helps 130 pet shelters across Canada by generating awareness, raising funds and donating products. They might feature a cat on their packaging but swipe to see who also likes them 🤣 @theroyalekittens @Influenster #veloursoftandstrong #RoyaleVelour #Complimentary

NAPSANDNURSE for $$ off! Welcome to the new monthly series of NCLEX chit chats with Cloe (I feel like I need a drink in hand next time we chat 🤣) Todays topic: timed exams I know that the NCLEX gives us plenty of time to take the exam but timed tests DO help us study! Let me tell you why I love the @truelearn tool of timed exams 1. If I don’t have that much time to study I can give myself 15 minutes to do a practice test and still get my studying in for the day 2. It’s a perfect way to time breaks (okay two 15 minutes practice exams and then it’s time to do something fun) 3. Once your brain practices timed exams it will learn to recognize patterns quickly- meaning that you can cruise through the multiple choice and select all that apply questions and use most of your brain power for the case study questions! Do you like timed exams? Tell me yes or no below and why!

Happy nurses week! No matter where you are in your nursing journey- just remember that you’re amazing and what you do matters 💕 What have you learned since being a nurse? What are you hoping we can all work towards as a profession? I’m proud to be nurse and I’m hopeful to make changes and grow throughout the years. Happy nurses week! I’m also so happy this year to have found @alegrianation their procession bone shoes are so comfortable and cute- they supported my feet so well during a long shift!

Come listen to my thoughts! 🤣 Every nurse is real and valuable and so important no matter what your designation is and no matter where you work. Thoughts?

Come open my Amazon packages with me! I’ve been obsessed with making my house a home lately and love all of these new touches 1. Dried baby’s breath 2. Hand soap and dish soap dispenser- matte black 3. Paper towel holder Tell me which one was your favorite! What should I buy next? Should I keep the flowers or return them?

If you know me- I’m a girls girl and all about supporting one another! Comment 🔥 (or literally anything!) and follow each other in the comments- I will be too! Let’s make genuine connections and friendships! Couldn’t make this reel without being in my comfiest scrubs! OBSESSED with @altitude_life_uniformes these are SO soft, So comfy and are SO classy and professional for a shift.

Guess what type of nurse I am! I’ve seen this trend on here and thought it was so fun! Hint: it’s not one of the mainstream ones you would think#l I’m so passionate about what I do for work and would love to answer any/all of the questions you may have ❤️

Nursing school tips: 1. Have a designated study space- wether it be at home, library or a café- study somewhere where you can focus and put your textbooks/computer on a hard surface- bed or couch will make you SO distracted! 2. Learn how you study best- do you like to re write your lectures down? Flash cards? Listening to other YouTube videos? Studying in a group? Don’t feel imposter syndrome. Just because everyone else is doing flash cards does not mean that it’s the best for you! 3. You CAN have a social life in nursing school- you need to prioritize but it is SO important to make sure that self care (however that looks like for you) is top on your list! 4. Clinical is an integral part of nursing school- the connections and experiences you make there are crucial! Being prepared and comfortable is key! These comfy shoes from @hawkwell_nurseshoes are cute, classic, sturdy and super wipeable! Most importantly, enjoy nursing school! You’ve worked SO hard to get to that point- it’s a fun, amazing experience if you let it be! What are your nursing school tips? Questions?

An item that elevates your look and can act as a cute accessory? Yes please! I received this complimentary @yslbeauty couture eye shadow palette from @influenster as an exchange for an honest review- the colours are absolutely gorgeous (swipe to see them!) and they can easily act as an everyday look (yes even as a nurse!) or perfect for a fancier night out. Definitely a palette I’ll be adding to my routine 😊💄 What’s your go to makeup brand/product? #complimentary #ClutchMyEyes #YSLBeauty @Influenster @YSLBeauty

What I absolutely love about being a nurse is the fact that there is always room to grow and learn- which means that our careers are never boring! I love that I can use @truelearn not only when I was a student but now as a new grad whenever I have questions or want to learn about a new topic. Here are a few ways that I’ve used @truelearn in the past few months: 1. Taken a quiz on community health and nutrition 2. Read over the endocrine system 3. Used @picmonic videos to learn how to better teach diabetes to my patients There are so many ways to use @truelearn whether as a student or not! Use code NAPSANDNURSE for 20% off! What are some things you keep studying as a nurse?

There is no better feeling than getting a new pair of scrubs that fits just right!! I was worried about the flared scrub pants but they don’t drag on the floor and hit just right. I love this pink bisque scrub set from @comeniiscrubs_official so so soft, stretchy and comfy- use code CLOECOM20 for 20% off!
