There's a New Cocktail Bar in Amsterdam and it is a game changer, ladies and gents. Yes, I did say "gents!" Bar Hachi serves unique cocktails, served to you in a beautifully stylish and funky interior with an overall wonderful and chilled ambiance. Each cocktail at Hachi tells an impressive story that transports you to another world. I spent a fabulous evening with my girl crew at the bar, soaking in the ambiance and having a taste of their beautiful selection of unique cocktails. I surrendered myself to Boris and went with his recommendations, and I'm happy I did. Must try are the Mini Moscow Mule, Mr. White, and Mr. Blonde. This is the standard to strive for ~ "Be happy; be hachi."
Disclosure: This is not a sponsored post. I was gifted a self-care package by the brand in exchange for writing an honest review following my experience using their products. Zielinski & Rozen is an exciting beauty brand you are going to love! I enjoy taking time out of my day to care for myself, both physically and mentally, because those two, in my opinion, go hand in hand. I am always looking for new beauty products to explore and find that range of products that bring that spa-like feeling home. We all need to turn our minds off just for a bit, relax, and recharge. I was happy and excited to test their creative products! ππ«Άπ Read my review in the first comment! πππ
Zanzibar is not just a beautiful and authentic tropical island. The thing you will take with you back home more than the spectacular views, are the incredible people of Zanzibar! The locals are so strong mentally, hard working, warm and hospitable, and most of all real. There's no fakeness here, in spite of the hardships and poverty they face daily. πππππ Things to know about Zanzibar: π§ββοΈπ§ββοΈThere are 1.6M people living on this small island. Only 8% have regular jobs! Corruption here is unfortunately, systematic. The locals survive through the power of communities coming together, creativity, and hard work every day. There is no luxury here of receiving benefits from the government for example. Most people are left to survive on their own, together with the community around them. β± There are stunning beaches around the island. NOTE: Only in the Northern part there is no low-tide. West, South and East, have very low-tides indeed. Low-tidr is gorgeous! You can go on walkabouts and discover the amazing creatures of the sea. It also means, swimming during the day is limited. π Visit a spice farm. It is interesting and it is a wonderful way to engage and support the locals. Yummy too! β Visit a local school. If you can, bring some pens and notebooks with you for them. You will find a school every three km, the level of education however and supplies are very low. π§ Do not drink the water! Make sure you take your drinks without ice! We learned the hard way...Ice cream that isn't packaged, might contain water too. If you eat fruit, nothing with a peel. Salads with vegetables are a risk too as they are washes with tap water. π Book a private tour of the island easily done through the hotels. They can always recommend someone. To help out the locals, the tours are private so more drivers and guides can work. Avoid international tour operators such as TUI! They are also 30% more expensive. π Plastic bags are forbidden to enter Tanzania πΉπΏ. π 95% of the people are Muslim. Please take that into consideration when dressing. Show respect to the culture here. ππ΄π Mother nature here needs no filters! π
There's a new hotel in town, and it is fabulous! Pillows Maurits at the Park ~ Extreme elegance, luxury, style, and all the facilities you could think of! πππππ I went exploring this weekend, and had the best time doing so, and this is why πππ πΉοΈ Location is superb! If you are a guest or have a reservation, you have valet parking available for 20β¬. Being able to drive up to the door and be rid of your car easily, is a dream in Amsterdam π πΉοΈ The decore is stunning! Restored to it's former glory! πΉοΈ Service starting with the valet attendee, doorman & reception is like nothing I've experienced before. πΉοΈ The restaurants and the Fritz Bar are gorgeous! With a beautiful 20-30s vibes, from the decor, choice of music to the staff's uniforms and style of service. πΉοΈ Food and drinks were sensational π Some of the cocktails were just like a delicious dessert! Great accommodating staff awaits you behind the bar. πΉοΈ The spa is truly luxurious in a clean cut sort of way. Whether you are heading to Amsterdam as a visitor or living here looking for a new restaurant or bar to try, this place IS IT! Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park Amsterdam

ππ HOTSPOT ALERT IN TEL AVIV ππ Chef Yossef Shitrit open this food/wine bar in TA this past summer. The menu is playful, with star dishes from the Moroccan kitchen along side a unique selection of wine. Finally, an unassuming cozy chef restaurant, offering good value for money! The atmosphere is cool, typical TA vibes you're going to love ππ Try the SJP wine collection by Invivo! P.S If you are in the area on Friday, go go go!
Having just said goodbye to summer *SIGH* it is time I would say to look forward to a tropical Christmas break! Something to help us get through the dreary winter months still to come. It has become a family tradition for us to escape the frosty European holiday season and substitute it with a tropical destination! After visiting Sri Lanka, Cabo Verde, Cuba, Mexico, the Maldives, and Aruba to name a few, last year we spent our winter break in the Caribbean island of Curacao. If you are planning a warm and sunny vacation this coming winter then this mini travel guide to Curacoa is for you! See you in the tropics! πβοΈππ΄
Saying goodbye to summer be like *SIGH* Until I'm in Tel Aviv again, here are my latest recommendations for this fun city! A must visit restaurant ~ Pop & Pope.
