Counting my blessings on this Sunday morning, as my mind wants to juggle with negative thoughts of inadequacy and not being good enough. I've been struggling a lot with depression and anxiety, but no matter what, I am reminded of all that I have and that life is so beautiful. I've been spending less time on social media and turned off most notifications on my phone so that I can be more actively present for my family and try to repair my thoughts. I won't lie, I am guilty of comparison on this platform and I've struggled with not having as many followers as others and trying to build the perfect page, but does any of this really matter? I really don't think so. Do I want to keep getting new followers? Yes. Do I want to keep creating great content? Yes. Do I want to be discovered by my favorite brands or potentially favorite brands? Yes, of course. However, nothing matters as much as my family's health and happiness and my own level of mental contentment and I continue to work on this everyday. Balance is key.
