Every year on their birthday I do a number of good deeds corresponding to their age. This year, as they were turning 5 years old so we did 5 good deeds. Good deed # 1: We donated food to our local food bank @snoqualmievalleyfoodbank Got donuts from our favorite @thenorthbendbakery Good deed # 2: Gave thank you card and donuts to our local post office @uspostalservice Good deed # 3: Gave thank you card and donuts to our local fire station. Good deed # 4: Helped mama bake a cake 🎂 Good deed # 5: Read namaz in our local masjid 🕌 I am sharing it here only with the purpose to motivate other parents to do the same on their kid’s birthday 💗💗

Can’t believe my babies are turning *5* in a few days 🥹 We celebrated their early birthday last Saturday 🥳 🎉🎂🎈 My boys are obsessed with *Rescue vehicles* so I shared my vision with @trophycupcakes and they created a custom cake and cupcakes which blew me away. My boys were so excited to see the cake and their reaction made my day. It was a delicious chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. The adorable cupcakes were half chocolate vanilla and half yumfetti cupcakes with vanilla buttercream. Thank you @trophycupcakes for a delicious *Rescue Vehicles Cake* as it was perfect for our little vehicle enthusiasts!

Have you ever interviewed your kids? I saw a reel of someone who did it and thought I should try it too. I did a lot of questions like: What scares you? One thing you like about school? One thing you don’t like about mama/daddy. By doing this simple question and answer session, we are learning how their mind works. It gives them an opportunity to think about these feelings within themselves.
