Life’s too short to not be obsessed with yourself. After years of damaging my curls and feeling insecure, I’m on a mission to help everyone embrace their natural texture and feel beautiful in their own skin. I’m 23, multiracial, female, vegan, USA based, and excited to work with you ;)

DIFFUSING ROUTINE ➰🤍✨ try it and let me know what you think!! this is how i pretty much always dry my hair now with very little variation because it works so well. sometimes i don’t even cup / shake at all and just hover all the way. leave your questions in the comments and i’ll try to answer them all! 💬➡️ #curlyhair #curlyhairstyles #curlyhairroutine #curlyhairtutorial #curlyhairproducts curly hair diffusing tutorial

PRODUCT REVIEW: @djerfavenue beauty 🫧🎀🧴👇🏼 i FINALLY tried the new styling mist & gel from djerf avenue beauty and here are my thoughts!! obviously miss @matildadjerf has the bouncy blowout of our dreams, but do the products work on my natural hair? 🧴 the gel is like a smooth, workable gel-cream that does a great job at smoothing frizz 🧴 the styling mist is like a texture spray with heat protection 🧴 i applied these both on wet hair, brushed through then brush styled like usual 🧴 the styling mist definitely gave me some texture and volume compared to using just a gel by itself! 🧴 i would consider this gel low but buildable hold, my only concern is the bottle is small so i’d probably have to use the entire bottle to actually get good enough hold for my whole head overall here’s my opinion: the styling mist is exactly what you’d expect it to be and it smells amazing, if you’re a blowout girlie you’ll love it! the gel is PERFECT for slick backs and REFRESHING but it won’t replace my go to gels for styling my hair curly because i prefer a lot more hold. i definitely plan to keep using the styling mist with other routines for that added heat protection & texture, and i can see the gel becoming one of my favorite refresh products that i can just throw in my purse & have with me “on the go” 🤭🎀🫧🤍 @djerfavenue thank you SO MUCH for gifting me these products, I’m obsessed with you! xx #curlyhair #curlyhairstyles #curlyhairroutine #curlyhairtutorial #curlyhairproducts

THE PERFECT MAKEUP LOOK ✨💄i consider this perfect bc it works for any occasion, i feel like it’s enough for nice events but also not so much that i feel overdone for work / day to day! it’s also just the right balance to me of minimal/natural looking while still feeling pretty and cute 💖 i’ve been really into the idea of accepting that skin imperfections are normal lately (my skin is super clear right now but i do break out sometimes & have a lot of texture) & instead of layering on heavy makeup to hide my breakouts, i’ve just been using these lighter coverage products and letting my skin show through. i actually think a little redness here & there looks better than cakey spots of concealer where i’m obviously trying to cover them up. but that’s just my current preference… do what makes you feel the best 🥰 everything i use is 🔗 under “makeup” ✨onmyShopMy✨& in my makeup highlight! QUICK CURL ROUTINE for when you just need it to look good right away & don’t need it to last very long 🤌🏼✨〰️ this routine is perfect for work mornings, before events, going out etc! i was going out so i wanted it to look good & i knew id be washing it again when i got home, so i wasn’t really worried about longevity or hold & just focused on volume. everything i used is 🔗’d in ✨myBl0✨ on @shopmy ! ROUTINE: ✨ wet/damp hair not soaking ✨ heat protectant bc you’re diffusing ✨ leave in conditioner or curl cream ✨ brush through to smooth frizz ✨ comb to separate big clumps ✨ shake gentle to let curls form ✨ scrunch in lots of mousse ✨ diffuse ✨ seal with oil to prevent frizz this actually lasted me a full 2 days, and maaaaybe could’ve lasted more but my hair absorbs the smell of every room i enter & it smelled like mexican food & tequila so it had to be washed anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ try it & lmk what you think!! #curlyhair #curlyhairstyles #curlyhairroutine #curlyhairtutorial #curlyhairproducts

i used SULFATE SHAMPOOS & drugstore conditioners only for a month… 👀🚿🧼here’s what happened: so i feel like somehow at some point we all got convinced that drugstore products & regular old shampoos & conditioners are like the worst thing we could ever do to our hair… but how does that really make sense when we used them for literally decades without issues before that?? like i used a sulfate shampoo every day in high school and my hair was still relatively healthy and waist length. so it can’t be thatttt bad, right? ✨if your hair is already damaged✨ by bleach / heat etc, i don’t think any of this applies to you and you should def be using a gentle shampoo that has always been the rule HERES WHAT HAPPENED 🧼 i used regular, sulfate-containing shampoos for all my washes (other than when i needed to film collabs) 2-3x per week for a month 🧼 i used the regular conditioners from the same line as the shampoo 🧼 after an entire month… my hair and scalp were fine. 🧼 my scalp felt maybe a tiny bit more dry than usual? a TINY BIT but not that much. 🧼 since i continued using leave in conditioners, curl creams, hair oils etc my hair actually didn’t feel dry it felt the same as always SO WOULD I RECOMMEND SWITCHING BACK? still no… not really. i think using these products is fine on occasion, but i also don’t think you need to switch back to using them every wash unless you only wash a few times per month. more than that and i think over time it would still slowly dry out your hair and scalp (i only did it for a month). overall i totally still believe dry / curly hair benefits a lot from ✨occasional✨ clarifying washes between more frequent gentle, hydrating washes. and unless your hair is pretty fine and healthy, deep conditioners and treatments can nourish your hair a lot more than a regular conditioner. BUT ALSO if you had great healthy hair and good results with a drugstore routine, keep using it! i think the most important thing is to do what works for you so if something was working and then you were influenced to change it… maybe try going back🫶🏼 what’s your experience been with sulfate shampoos? #curlyhair #curlyhairroutine
