What a family vacation. We flew to Vegas. It was great. But then right before we were supposed to fly home, a kid got sick. Throwing up kind of sick with a fever. We freaked out. We couldn’t fly. Not with Covid still going on and people freaking out if you coughed on a plane. So, we rented a car and drive 25 hours home making stops along the way. However, along the way, the other two kids got sick. We stayed in a different hotel every night. We saw the Twister museum in Oklahoma, we drove on a real red dirt road, we went to Kansas City Chiefs stadium and ate KC BBQ. Sure it wasn’t SUPPOSED to happen like that, but everyone still remembers this trip and has even asked to do it again. Proud of this girl. The start of her 5th cheer season is here and the first competition weekend is winding down.
