I don’t spent much time on here during the summer, our days are so full in all of the best ways. We spend most of our time outside and I try to avoid my phone and just dive into all around us. I had a really good wrap on my anxiety during the spring, the progress from the previous fall was like night and day. Things kind of derailed recently being left without a schedule, it’s easy for me to coop myself up, or glue myself to the couch sunken in with anxious feelings. So I avoid that, and a big part of it is being on my phone, it’s ultimately a trigger. I’m so much better staying busy, being outside, yet slowing down in ways where I can soak up all of the beauty around me and encourage a positive, healthy mindset.

Today I started my day at the local farm store, the hardware store, quickly digging in the dirt - planting and weeding, spreading straw, giving feed, filling bowls. A day outside, all day. Hot, sweaty, and dirty. But full of so much happiness. We played in the yard, swimming in the river, picking flowers. I am grateful for the life we have created and the path we have chosen.
