🌸 EDIBLE FLOWER 🧊 i remember being about 8 or 9, and being on vacation in northern Michigan with my grandfather we went to the fancy restaurant, and when the waiter brought out my white fish there were edible flowers all over it I scrunched up my nose and my grandfather picked one up and popped one in his mouth. He smiled and said “you’re turn”. I did the same and was overcome with how DISGUSTING they were. just wet dirty paper they are slightly improved in taste to my 37 year old palate, but the essence of wet paper persists. which, is why you need a super delicious water or cocktail or mocktail to gussy these beauties right up! just imagine a couple of these in some sangria! gorgeous, and you don’t have to eat the flower, because it sticks to the side of the glass pretty easily
