I’m a stage III breast cancer survivor and used to be very shy and full of insecurities, anxiety and depression assosiated with all of my health issues …It was all about second chances. I literally mean second chances at life and not just from a pageant standpoint. My daughter wanted to enter a pageant and the one for her category had already been done so we ran into the #mrsutah2020 link and I asked my husband if I should enter and we said, why not!?…I am a stage III breast cancer survivor! I have a secong chance in life! So, im leaving my shyness and insecurities behind and I’m using my second chance in life since disgnosed to participate and maybe be Mrs America! Who knows!!! As a participatant for the Mrs. Utah America Pageant and hopefully be the one to represent the State of Utah for the Mrs. America Pageant 2020, I get to work on a platform that is really close to my heart. That platform being the homeless/displaced students.

My Platform: Homeless/displaced students. There are so many homeless students that are couch surfing, doubled up, living in shelters, etc. that need help not only with clothing or shoes but with transportation to and from school, food, school supplies, hygiene products, and more services that these students and their families desperately need to feel like they belong and help them try to have the next experience they have while going to school, graduate and become someone in the near future.

I would love to be able to put together the love for making crafts, traveling, and anything else I can do, to be able to help our homeless students.
