Patriotic Caprese 🍅 ⭐️ . Keeping in theme with making a caprese for every holiday, here’s one for 🇺🇸 ! . Very simple to make and delicious. We had this yesterday with some homemade pizza I made. . Pro Tip: Use a star cutter for the mozzarella. ⭐️ . ⭐️Patriotic Pastries⭐️ . Simple (you know- my usual). I stuffed with home-made whipped cream. My tried and true recipe for that is: 1 pint heavy whipping cream (COLD) (2 cups) ½ cup powdered sugar 1 tsp pure vanilla extract I mix these ingredients together until stiff. The trick for me is always freezing the bowl (if it’s stainless steel + beaters). If you’re using a glass bowl make sure you refrigerate it 15-20 minutes before making the whipped cream. . I also added strawberries and blueberries and topped the pastries with a homemade Sugar glaze (powdered sugar, heavy cream + vanilla) and some patriotic @fancysprinkles 🇺🇸 .
