Counting down the days until I can travel with my favorite weirdo again.

2020 was exhausting. The first nine days of 2021 have me questioning whether it’s worth looking towards the future. Living in the moment is a struggle when there’s nothing else to do. I spend a lot more time in my own thoughts these days, and everything happening in the world around me is only adding to my confusion around how I feel. There’s no rulebook to processing an attempted coup and upheaval of your life. There’s no rulebook for learning how to balance work, life, a pandemic, personal goals, and the questionable state of your country. For now I’ll just continue to be here attempting to find some sense of understanding to how I feel if you need me. Until then, here’s a photo from February 2020, which feels like an actual decade ago.

I haven’t posted in a while so here’s my best impulse purchase this year.

Four years ago in the Julian Alps. Slovenia is one of my absolute favorite countries.

My best pandemic purchase (so far) is definitely my new @schwinnbikes IC4. I pair it with the Peloton app on my iPad and my rides are suddenly much more enjoyable. 🚴‍♀️ I’m not going out because pandemic. Turns out this was my only viable solution for staying active. (Nothing else stuck.)

Current status: dreaming of being anywhere else
