One happy island! 🇦🇼🌴 And one happy couple. 🥰 Y’all. We turned on an “out of office” message for our emails and went away on our first VACATION in years, and it altered our brain chemistry 🧠✨ Our time in Aruba was a literal DREAM come true. There was no intention of content. We traveled with only carry-ons for the first time. We put our phones away. We lived fully in each moment. We sat on the beach for hours and could hear our own thoughts. We focused on each other and our relationship. It was the most romantic and refreshing getaway we’ve ever had. We feel as united as ever. It’s so good to be in love, y’all. And it was the best decision to take this trip for ourselves 🥹. Going, going, gondola ⚓️ You ever just need a trip… FROM the trip? 😂 “Go go go” is the speed that we travel in and people are always shocked by how much Chris and I cover in a single destination. And while there are plenty of instances of absolute rapture and relaxation, our idea of an adventure doesn’t always see us winding down and finding tranquility. Soooo we’re continuing my birthday celebrations and doing exactly that: unwinding! For the first time in YEARS, we’re taking an actual VACATION. No crazy itinerary, no expectations of content…. well, maybe a lil snacky photo of us on the beach 🥴 BUT this weekend will be packed with romance, piña coladas, and living in the present. Gays in the Green Mountain state! 🏳️‍🌈 There’s a reality where members of our community aren’t called to live in larger cities that are historically strongholds for LGBTQ+ people, but as we’ve explored several parts of the United States over the past year, we’ve found pride in places we’d least expect it! Our recent trip to Addison County showed us that queerness is truly everywhere. We exist not only in the big cities, but in small towns as well.
