It was the city’s center during the Portuguese colonial period and was named for the whipping post in its central plaza where enslaved people from Africa were publicly beaten as punishment for alleged infractions. Praia do Forte, Bahia. 🌴🐟 A small town and village 80km from Salvador. The beach is known for its clear waters, white sand, natural pools, rivers and an ecological reserve of native flora and fauna. It was super HOT and HUMID while we were there! 🥵🔥 @spartina449 Raya Rafia tote was the bag I used this entire trip! It screams summer, it has a zipper (which believe it or not, it’s a huge thing, specially when I leave the country) and it’s the perfect size! I could fit my camera and everything else! We had a blast 💥 at @sesameplace in Philadelphia. Only a 4 hour drive from Rhode Island you can have so much fun! We joined Elmo’s Eggstravaganza Easter Celebration! Decorated donuts with the Cookie Monster. Watched shows, story time and a fun parade! Had lunch with Elmo and his friends including the Easter Bunny! 🐰✨ soon they will be opening their water park section and that will be so fun!
