✨GUT HEALING PUMPKIN SPICE MARHSMALLOWS✨ for this girl who is in fact, a summer. But tomorrow is the first day of autumn, so it’s time for me to embrace the fall girl aesthetic and flavors! These homemade marshmallows have two gut healing ingredients: gelatin and marshmallow root. Marshmallow root is a tea that is great for numerous digestive issues and has mucilagenic properties that may soothe the lining of the stomach! Gelatin may also help restore the gut lining and enhance digestive strength! And I know some of y’all aren’t down with gelatin, so use a substitute if it’s not for you 🫶 Gut Healing Pumpkin Spice Marshmallows: 1 cup water 1/2 cup maple syrup 1 tbsp marshmallow root 3 tbsps grass fed gelatin 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice Pinch salt ✨Pour 1 cup hot water over marshmallow root. Allow to steep until cool. Strain and place in a pot. Pour the gelatin over the tea to bloom. Then heat this mixture so that the gelatin dissolved and add in spices and maple syrup. Remove from heat and use a stand or hand mixer to mix until stiff peaks form. This took about ten minutes. Quickly pour into a parchment lined container and let set. Cut into squares. Recipe: 1/2 tablespoon rosehips 1/2 tablespoon rose 1 cup water 1/3 cup strawberries 2 oz @whatiffoods bamnut milk 1/2 oz lime juice 1/2 tbsp honey Pinch salt Steep rosehips and rose in 1 cup hot water. Allow to sit for 10 minutes. Blend Strawberries, lime juice, honey, salt, and bamnut milk with the tea mixture. Pour over ice and garnish with strawberry hearts! One of my most popular recipes and since we are heading into hibernation season, I figured it was time to share it again! I used heart molds and ice cube trays, but the hearts really made me so happy. You can find the link to the mold in my Amazon storefront. Tart cherry juice helps promote melatonin, which is the hormone responsible for helping you fall asleep! Magnesium is also super helpful for sleep because it regulates melatonin and helps get you into the parasympathetic state of rest and digest. Better sleep= better everything. Pair these with some blue blocking glasses and you will be snoozing in no time! Recipe: 1/2 cup gelatin ( I used @vitalproteins ) 2 cups tart cherry juice 2 cups water mixed with 6 tbsps @woodenspoonherbs magnesium (I love getting it from @livehealthillie ) ✨pour 1/4 cup gelatin over magnesium mixture and let bloom. Once it has bloomed heat on medium and stir until combined. Pour into your molds and set in the refrigerator. While this sets, repeat the same process with the tart Cherry juice. Pour it on top of the set magnesium jello and place back in the refrigerator to fully set.
