If you feel like things are intense right now, you’re not alone. There is a lot going on energy wise for everyone right now. Allow yourself to feel your feelings as they come up without judgement or trying to analyze them. The hardest part of embodiment work can be the integration. We can be the best students and take the best notes and understand all the things but if we don’t pause to allow time for the integration process, then all that learning was for nothing. This may look like sleeping all day, crying, getting angry, feeling lots of emotions in a short time span, having zero motivation etc. Whatever comes up, let yourself feel it. Release the “I should be doing” or “I should be feeling” and release the need for the logical brain to assign meaning to the “lessons” or hardships that come up. Release it all and just be present. Listen. Feel. Slow down. Rest. You’re not alone in this ✨🙏🏼
I got the opportunity to tour @lillylakefarm the other week! They’re an organic hemp farm located right here in CT. While walking around with the owner Scott, I was impressed with his transparency about the grow process and the way he ensures quality control, especially when it comes to mold. He also publishes all of this information on his website to make it easy for anyone to access. I was able to try two of his c🐝d flower strains honestly loved both! Keep your eyes on their page because VERY soon they’re going to be announcing some really cool ways to offer stakeholders a new twist on both with your ability to mint a NFT of your plant and receive the actual plant as a gift from the Lilly Lake farm. We are programmed to seek what we’ve known. Even though we think we’re after happiness, we’re actually trying to find whatever we’re most used to. This is why affirmations don’t work. This is why you can’t “love yourself” into a new reality. The first step in healing is taking full accountability for you who are and the truth of your life. What it looks like on the outside doesn’t matter, it’s how you feel about it on the inside. We resist doing the inner work because deep down we know that when we heal, our lives will change which means that temporarily, we will be even more uncomfortable, ashamed or scared while we start all over. 🎤👇🏻🤯
@glutenfreenewengland is coming to South Shore Boston THIS SATURDAY! Every expo Abby puts on somehow gets better and better and I can’t wait to see all my #glutenfree friends and sample food and drinks from old favorites and discover some new favorite companies as well!! I’ll be there with @glutengossip so if you see us, come say hi!
Self sabotage is a coping mechanism and serves a purpose of protection . Sometimes we self sabotage our healing journey by psychoanalyzing our feelings, because doing so ensures we avoid actually experiencing them . Making sure we stay the same protects us from vulnerability which protects us from hurt - that’s what our subconscious is thinking. But this is temporary relief because what it’s doing long term is numbing our desires and not addressing what our actual needs are. We are programmed to seek what we’ve known. Even though we think we’re after happiness, we’re actually trying to find whatever we’re most used to. Once we radically accept this and take full responsibility for our own lives, we have the power to change this. To stop the self sabotage and actually get the where we’ve been wanting to go. ✨⚡️
Are you in a season of life right now where it feels like the curveballs just keep coming so hard and so fast that it’s hard to breathe some days? Sometimes change happens so fast and in so many areas that it feels like your feet are dangling at the top of the tallest roller coaster. It’s okay to be overwhelmed. It’s okay to be confused. It’s okay to want to cry when on paper it looks like you should be celebrating. It’s okay to be unsure. Change is hard, even when it’s “good” change and learning skills to regulate your nervous system and to get out of your head and into your body will help ground you and allow you to stay present no matter how fast the whirlwind gets. These are the skills I use and teach in all of my coaching sessions. I want my clients to be able to self regulate outside of our sessions and to be able to have the tools needed to reduce the overwhelm so they can see what’s right in front of them. I’m currently accepting new clients if you feel called to work together ⚡️✨
“Maybe you are searching among the branches for what only appears in the roots.” -Rumi ✨ When my clients feel frustrated or like they’re spinning their wheels, most often they’re stuck in structured mind stories, which is why mindset work doesn’t move the needle on true lasting transformation. That’s why I take a different approach when working with clients. We use somatic practices and embodiment work to discover the root and heal - which leads to lasting transformation. If you feel like you’ve been doing all the “things” but not getting any closer to what you want, chances are you’re stuck in the branches still. I’d be honored to guide you on your healing journey if you feel called to this type of work 🙏🏼
