Let’s learn a bit more about each other! 💙 Hi, I’m Olivia, travel blogger and content creator aka Girl With Blue Sails. 👋🏻 I travel to new destinations and create travel guides and packing tips based on my own experiences. Please feel free to comment with some fun facts about yourself! 🫶🏻 ☀️ I grew up in Southern California 📚 I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing ❤️ I’m married & have a 2 year old corgi puppy 📸 I started my travel blog & IG account in 2020 👒 If it isn’t obvious from these photos, I love hats 😂 💰 I have a full time job in addition to content creation 🌎 I’ve been to 21 countries so far 🌱 I’ve been vegetarian for over 20 years 🍕 If I had to choose 1 food to eat forever, it’d be pizza 👉🏻 Your turn! I’d love to see some comments full of fun facts about you. ❤️

Dog friendly cabins in beautiful Mammoth Lakes. 🐶 Loved these quiet, individual cabins at @outboundmammoth! This property has regular hotel rooms on site as well, but I was so glad I opted for the cabins. THE DECOR 🏠 Honestly, it was a relief to find a cabin setting in a mountain town that doesn’t have oak walls and a floral bed spread. 😂 The modern decor fit our vibe well, and everything felt very fresh and clean. DOG EXPERIENCE 🐾 My 2 year old corgi loved the place. I was so grateful at the warm welcome she received in the lobby. They gave her treats and a little goodie bag for later. She loved people watching on the private cabin deck, and I loved how easy it was to take her outside for short walks throughout the day. Her favorite part though was lounging on the king bed. 💤 HOTEL AMENITIES 🍸 - Crepe truck on site: @cafecrepemammoth - Swimming pool - Fire pits (with smores kits available) - Restaurant and bar on site - Fully stocked kitchen in the cabin LOCATION 🌲 Great location in a quiet part of Mammoth, with plenty of shops and restaurants near by. A short drive away from the village. 🫶🏻 Share with someone who loves to travel with their dog! 📍 Outbound Mammoth @outboundmammoth 🌿 Mammoth Lakes, California #mammothlakes #dogfriendlytravel #travelingwithdogs #cabinlife #corgisofinstagram

A very particular set of skills. 🤌🏻 Can you relate? 😂 One of my favorite things to do while traveling is sit down with some food, local wine, and a good view. 🍷 #travelhumor #travelexpert #winelover #winewithaview

Would you take your dog? 🐶 Summiting the iconic mountain in Mammoth Lakes, California was such a cool experience. I was especially thankful I could take my corgi puppy! 🐾 PRICING 💰 Pricing ranges from about $35-$55 based on day of week and holidays. Up to two kids ride free with each adult. Seniors over 80 ride free as well. HOURS ⏰ Hours can vary, but they’re generally 9am- 4pm during summer. Be sure to check the lift status page on the Mammoth Mountain website for any closures due to weather. THE VIEWS 🏔️ The views are stunning in the summertime. We went in July, and there were blue skies with still some snow in the mountains. THE HEIGHTS 😱 The gondolas went a lot higher than I thought, and we had some high winds towards the top. At one point our gondola line stopped, and we were swinging mid-air over a massive, ungodly drop. Not for the faint-hearted! DOG EXPERIENCE 🐶 While all well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome in the gondolas during summer season, please consider whether or not it may be too scary for your dog. My puppy was definitely scared, and by the time we got on, there was no turning back. She was fine in the end, and liked running around at the summit. But sharing my experience in case it helps your planning. ❤️ 👉 Share this video with your adventure buddy! #mammothmountain #gondola #dogfriendly #travelingwithdogs #traveltips

My most commonly asked question. 😂 “How do you travel with your hats?” Happy to unveil the mystery. 💙 👉 Share this tip with your hat-wearing wearing travel buddies! 🫶🏻 Follow for more travel tips 🤠 Hat in video from @idyllwind #traveltips #packingtips #travelhacks #packinghacks #travelproblems

To be fair, I took the gondola. 😂 It was still quite an adventure to get to the top, especially with my corgi puppy. We made it safely though, and enjoyed the beautiful views at the top of Mammoth Mountain. 🏔️ 👉 Share with someone who needs a reminder to get outside. 🫶🏻 Follow for my upcoming reel on the full panoramic gondola experience, including tips for traveling with a dog. 🐶 #climbthatmountain #getoutside #mammothmountain #travelingwithdogs #corgisofinstagram

Happy 4 of July from June Lake! 💙 Scout’s first time voluntarily getting in water. She went in up to her belly, and didn’t want to go any deeper. 😂 Beautiful day out on the lake. ☀️ #junelake #4thofjuly #roadtrip #corgisofinstagram

I can’t help myself. 😂 I swear, I only plan relaxing moments if I’m traveling with other people so I can appear normal. 🤷🏻‍♀️ If left on my own, I’ll research and explore every cool spot I can find. I’ll rest when I get home! Can you relate? 👉 Share with a fellow traveler who just cannot stop themself 😂 📍Videos taken from the beautiful Grand Palace in Bangkok, Thailand #travelhumor #contentcreator #exploremore

20 acres to frolic. 💜 This Southern California Lavender Festival met all my expectations! Here are the details. THE FIELDS 🌿 They have 20 acres of Lavender on site for guests to stroll through and enjoy. Be sure to head out at sunset for some amazing photos! THE PROPERTY 🤍 123 Farm is huge. They hold many events here, including weddings, so they know what they’re doing. There are so many things to see here, and it’s so spread out that it never really feels crowded. @123farmorganics THE FOOD AND DRINKS 🥤 Plenty of food and drinks are available for purchase, including ones that are lavender infused. I didn’t try any lavender food, but I had a lavender mojito that was 🤌🏻. THE SHOPPING 🛍️ I feel like this place has every lavender product you could ever need. From candles and soaps, to syrups and jams, you are bound to find something you love. THE LIGHTS ✨ As the sun begins to set, you’ll notice that this place is covered in lights. Over 100,000 according to their website. With light-draped archways and chandeliers hanging from trees, you will feel like you’re walking through a dream. THE PHOTO OPPS 📸 I came for the photos and the opportunities were endless. The lavender fields themselves were gorgeous, but I saw families taking photos in beautiful archways, couches under chandeliers, and against amazing backdrops. VISITOR TIPS 🪻 Visit mid June through early July to see the lavender at its tallest. 🪻 Wear that dress! I saw tons of people dressed their best for all the photos opps. You may want to bring a change of clothes, however, as the outdoor furniture can get a bit dusty. 🪻 Do not pick the lavender. They sell bunches in the gift shop if interested. 🪻 Get the property map at the entrance, because this place is huge. 👆 Save these tips for your visit 👉 Share with someone who needs to check this out! 📍 Lavender Festival 123 Farm, Beaumont, California May 3- July 21, 5:00pm - 10:00pm @123farmorganics #lavenderfestival #lavenderfields #123farm #datenight #sunsetphotography

Lavender fields forever 💜 Had an amazing time at the Lavender Festival at @123farmorganics! 🌱 The property that holds this festival is gorgeous. It’s huge, so m space ever felt crowded. And it’s covered with 100,000 lights- on the trees, buildings, and plants. ✨ Besides all the lavender infused food, drinks, and products to purchase, I was most excited about the lavender field itself. Over 20 acres of field is open for guests to wander and enjoy. 🌾 The Lavender Festival is May 3- July 21 from 5-10pm. Visit soon to see the lavender in full bloom! ☀️ 👉 Be sure to follow to catch my upcoming reel with more Lavender Festival details. 📍Lavender Festival at 123 Farm, Beaumont, California @123farmorganics #lavenderfields #lavenderfarm #goldenhourlight #123farm #summerblooms

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of taking photos in front of murals. ❤️ These two were from my recent trip to Joshua Tree. 🌵 The first one is so fun, and I love the rabbit in the second one! I actually saw a couple rabbits with long ears like this on the trip. 🐰 📍These murals can be found right across the street from the @crossroadscafe_joshuatree, an awesome spot for breakfast. 🙋🏻‍♀️ How about you? Are you a fan of street art and murals on your trips? #joshuatree #streetart #muralsofinstagram #desertvibes #desertroadtrip

And it’s a little bit haunted 🤫 I recently stayed at the Joshua Tree Inn with a group of friends, and it’s now my new favorite place to stay when in the area. It’s unique, charming, and is just the right amount of desert quirky. 🌵 BOOK EARLY There are only 12 rooms on site, so it’s very quiet. Be sure to book in advance to guarantee a spot! 🔑 @the_j.t_inn ROOMS Rooms all have a private patio, where I stepped out each morning to see the golden sunrise on the mountains. They come with a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. ☕️ Select rooms are dog friendly and come with a pet cleaning fee. COMMON SPACES I was most impressed with the common spaces on the property. 🌿 I loved the shady sitting areas, stage, bar area, fire pit (bring your own firewood), dining tables, and heated pool. AWESOME LOCATION 15 min drive to @joshuatreenps National Park and Pioneertown 🤠 A couple minute drive to the @jt_saloon & @joshuatreedistillingco LOOK OUT FOR GHOSTS It’s rumored that the spirit of musician Gram Parsons lives in room 8. 🤍 There is a shrine out front, and the room is decorated with his photos and memorabilia. I’ll let you check out the history for yourself- it’s quite a story. I would totally recommend this space for your next trip! 🗺️ It was perfect for our large group to have their own rooms with tons of shared space to hang out. ✅ Save for your next trip to Joshua Tree. 🫶🏻 And share with someone who’d you want to join you! #joshuatreeinn #desertroadtrip #joshuatree #gramparsons #desertvibes #traveltips #haunted
