I used to be a solo traveler before that was even a thing. Then I got married had this awesome family and adopted high spirited Labrador retriever. I have been traveling since a little girl, spent time working in other countries, and now bring my family along with me. At times, the dog joins in for the adventure. She even tried to descend a rock face while we were rock climbing. That didn't go so well. She survived, our wallets did not. I write about our adventures, including travel tips, in hopes to inspire other families to travel

After a snowy morning at home we decided to venture out to try out a local wine and vermouth producer. Loved their locally crafted wines and vermouth cocktails. The menu consisting of pintxos and cheese/charcuterie boards and much more was amazing. It was the perfect way to enjoy a cold snowy day. Kids decided that learning to make Vallee d’Auge Chicken, chicken cooked in calvados, was one of the best experiences they had during our France trip. @la_cuisine_debrigitte is such a great chef and cooking instructor and welcomed us all into her warm kitchen in Normandy. When I heard about Lingopie, a language learning platform that uses TV programming for learning a language, I was intrigued. Surfing through the language learning app, I found young kids TV, drama and dystopian type shows for the teenage audience, historical programming, telenovelas, best of for the different countries, documentaries, thrillers, binge-worthy shows, and even family programming. Also, this language learning method is academically proven and one of our advisors in the language field Is it only computer based language learning app or is there an smart phone app that can be downloaded to stream on a home TV?
Located at the center of Temple Square, and the most beautiful astonishing centerpiece in all of Utah, sits the Salt Lake Temple. The food court serves decent food, but you’ll want to check out the other awesome restaurants scattered throughout the rest of the city. You’ll get the obvious shark, octopus, and giant fish, but you’ll also get otters, lizards, and even birds which makes it a must-see Salt Lake City attraction. Right in the heart of Liberty Park, and in the midst of one of Salt Lake’s most expansive parks, you’ll find the Tracy Aviary.
Throughout our travels, we have visited some great markets, where we’ve introduced our kids and ourselves to new street foods, new flavors and at times produce and spices we do Keep walking through the market and you’ll find delectable dessert stands that looked almost too beautiful to eat, and local maple syrup, fresh baked bread, and butcher and fish stands. Jean Talon market is a perfect open-air market visit in Montreal with its plentiful seasonal offerings, local offerings and even fresh made goods. I particularly enjoyed the fresh, large figs being sold; I have never seen figs so large, fresh, or so sweet.
