Going down memory lane for a second! My children have witnessed me go through so much and I really do appreciate them riding this wave with me. I couldn’t imagine doing life without them. The abs wasn’t coming to play - thanks to juicing & proper nutrition! 7. Son working out 😂 8. home workouts and toddlers 😂 (COVID) 9. A few days before turning 32 I documented this smile as I cut my hair and knew new beginning were coming 🙏🏾 10. one month postpartum after having my 6 year old. I will admit I was in a very low point here. That soon changed 🙏🏾 Mamas remember our kids imitate everything we do. When I think back to my early 20s and knowing that I didn’t want kids I wanted to be the rich auntie 😂 God definitely had other plans for me. He gave me not 1, 2, 3 but 4 beautiful babies to do life with. Some days I still look at them amazed at how he chose me. I don’t allow me having 4 children cripple anything I want to do. Before kids I could just go solo and worry about me and only me. Now I have 4 humans to provide for as well which is okay but just know we gon explore this 🌎 together. I also don’t want to give this narrative that it’s all peaches and cream traveling with kids because it’s not. There are tantrums, fights and the list goes on. My advice is don’t let those things ruin your moment. To any of my single mamas looking to travel with your little ones remember these tips: 1. Plan ahead 2. Pack Wisely 3. Stay Connected 4. Listen can I be honest with you for a second. Am I actively dating? No. Do I care to be in a relationship right now? No. 🤷🏾‍♀️ My focus right now is growing my relationship with God. Second, traveling and spending quality time with my children. I couldn’t ask for anything better. Some may think I’m crazy or delusional but that’s where I’m at right now.
