WW vs Keto – Which is Better?

For weight loss, health, and wellness, are you better off following the Weight Watchers points system or a Ketogenetic low carb, high fat diet? Weight Watchers is a commercial weight loss program that uses a points system where each food has a point value and members receive a set number of points per day. The way the points system and The way the points system and zero point foods are calibrated, you are encouraged to eat healthier foods, and for many of us it’s a wider range of healthy foods than we would normally eat. WW’s goal for for members is long-term weight loss and maintenance in a way that realistically fits into an everyday lifestyle.

21 Powerful Bible Verses about Temptation

Use these Bible verses about temptation to learn how to resist temptation by the power of the Holy Spirit. When I am being tempted, whether it’s with food and the desire to overeat, temptation to yell at my kids or treat my husband in a way that’s less than loving, I come back to the truth of this passage. For the next 3 scripture verses about temptation, we will look at the story of Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness. In this final section of the story of Jesus’ temptation in the desert, we see that Satan tries to tempt Jesus with the world, power, and authority.

Now you know the steps to make a delicious WW egg roll bowl that is delicious, filling, and low in Weight Watchers points for all plans.

I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling weary. 🔹The newscasts. 🔹The school at home. 🔹The intense togetherness. 🔹The alone-ness. 🔹The pressure to hold it together. 🔹The waiting for...what could happen. 🔹I worry about people working on the front lines. 🔹The wondering when we will go back to normal. 🔹The wondering if normal will be the same. This verse says God will give us rest. I’m clinging to that promise today. . #questhero #onaquest

I admit, I panicked. . A trip to the grocery store is completely different from a few weeks ago, isn't it? While it's true that there is food to be found, seeing some of the shelves bare filled me with anxiety and almost a touch of panic. . My original plan was to stock up on a few essentials but not go crazy. I figured some extra canned goods would be a good idea. . All the frozen pizzas were gone except for 2 lone ones sitting in the bottom shelf. I grabbed them, figuring we might need them. They aren't the kind we like but who can be picky in times like these? . What exactly do you stockpile for a crisis like this? Do I skip the frozen foods in case we run out of power? Wait, that's for a natural disaster. . Peanut butter and toilet paper were gone. If everyone else is buying up them, do they know something I don't? . The energy in the store was something I could almost reach out and touch. People were anxiously throwing items into their carts. Some people were shopping with gloves. I didn't put on gloves. Was I putting my family at risk? Others were using the edge of their sweatshirt so they didn't touch the shelves. Should I do that too? . I came home with a cart full of junk food I don't normally even purchase. Now we are stuck at home and the urge to eat it all - today - is strong. . The truth is, all of us are struggling right now to know which end is up. But as someone with a history of emotional eating, the situation is hitting me extra hard. . I feel isolated. Scared. Lonely. And those bagel bites are calling my name. . Are you struggling to make healthy choices during these tough times? If so, you aren't alone. My business partner Becky and I (who have each lost 100 pounds) are offering a free training to help you with your food choices as we all navigate these uncharted waters. Will you join us? This is a verse I’m clinging to in these challenging days. You have power. You have love. You have self-control, because God is at work in you. Fear is not from God, it’s from the enemy. . Let’s make choices today from His power, love, and self-Control at work in us. #faithoverfear #christianliving #christianlife #bibleverse #biblequotes #biblejournaling

My day today, saying goodbye to my mom. 💛 (My dad’s grave stone in the background.) #myview #nowords

My mom died yesterday. Amazingly, I had planned a trip to visit her and I was able to be with her when she died. I've heard that sometimes people wait for loved ones to come and I believe in that. My brother and I were here to say goodbye and express our love as she went into eternal life. I find myself sitting staring out the window. I walk into rooms and have no clue why I entered or how I got there. We're in the middle of this coronavirus outbreak and I swing between concern and not even being able to think of it. We plan to have the funeral but keep it small and limit physical contact. My mom and I, our relationship was...complicated. We had our issues. I've come to learn most mothers and daughters do. The connection of a mother and child is so intense and raw and intimate. We love each other and drive each other crazy. We see the best in each other and pick at every flaw in an effort to make the other stronger. Sometimes that works and sometimes it wounds, but it's done with the best of intentions, deep down anyway. So now we are moving through all the first-days-after-the-death things like picking an outfit for burial and where is the bank card and what is the password for that and who do we need to call and "oh mom would have liked that." I keep turning around to ask her a question or tell her something and she's not here. My dad died when I was young so now I have no living parents. This is a unique loneliness I've heard people talk about. Now I feel it. I'm so thankful for the people in my life who are here with me. My mom clearly expressed her faith in God right up until the end and that brings me comfort. She was at peace and she was ready. My mom had complicated health issues for many years but it still feels like a shock. Maybe death is always a shock, no matter how ready you think you are. I'm grieving today, but not as those who have no hope. #grief #hope

I’m impatient. I want what I want and I want it yesterday. . Can I be honest here for a sec? If I’m totally being real, here’s what I want... I want to be thinner. I want to be more muscular. I want more income. I want more money in my savings account. I want my business to be bigger. I want my kids to be more obedient. I want relationships to be easier. I want my moods to be better. . And by the way God, can I have all that right now? . Whoa that’s a lot of wants. 😛 Yet the Bible says God has made everything beautiful in its own time. . In our weight loss programs we often remind women that we put in the work, but the results happen in God’s timing. . I don’t know about you, but I need that reminder today. . God’s will. God’s way. . Have a beautiful weekend my friend. 💗

A fun Friday before and after. Before - 250 lbs After - 140 lbs At goal and Lifetime. #facetofacefriday Thank you God for the work you’ve done in my life. #ww #wwcommunity #wwblueplan #wwblueplan @ww

When you see other people’s success, does it motivate you or depress and frustrate you? . It’s easy to see other people’s successful moments and forget about all the failures they had along the way. . Falling down is part of the process of getting to your goal. Don’t quit. . #weightlossjourney #weightlossmotivation #quoteoftheday #motivationalquotes

This hit me hard. A few days ago during my morning prayer time, I realized...what if God is offering me blessings and I’m flat-out rejecting them because I feel unworthy? Do you graciously receive the gifts God gives you? James 1:17 says "Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow." This week I've been thinking about how so often I don't graciously receive the gifts God gives me. I think I don't deserve it, so I self-sabotage. I did this a lot with my weight loss. I felt unworthy so I would go behind my own back and binge or overeat. Here recently, I quit my job to work full-time from home on my websites, and I've felt some guilt that makes me want to run and hide rather than simply enjoy this amazing gift. Can you relate? I don't think I'm alone with this behavior. So, I've been thinking about how I can more gracious receive God's good gifts. Think about when you give a gift to someone. What do you want them to do? 💜Accept it with excitement and joy! You want to make them happy. 💜 Use it! Don't say it's too fancy or too pretty and stick it in a corner. Use it up, use it often, use it every day. 💜 Share it with others. Talk about how much you love it! 💜 Say thank you! Praise God for the good He's working in your life. Have you thanked Him lately? How can you more graciously receive God's good gifts to you? #christianlife #faithlife #weightlossjourney #100poundsdown #wwcommunity
