Kara Goucher GOrun Forza 3 Review

The Skechers Performance team has continued to make great improvements to the shoe so that it has become a bit more streamlined without losing any of the stability I need and love. I know this is a concern for stability shoes, but the GOrun Forza 3 is a great size. The GOrun Forza 3 is the best stability shoe I have ever run in. Her weekly training schedule currently consists of one fartlek run, one day of strides, 2 gym strength sessions and one long run of 15-17 miles.

Edward Cheserek GOrun Ride 7 review

GO Elite athlete Edward Cheserek has been crushing it on the track and ran a 3:49.44 for the indoor mile! That makes him one of four men ever to run faster than 3:50 in the indoor mile. I love how they support my feet when I run fast in them or when I run slow. They fit great and are easy to run in and walk in post workout.

Daniel Tapia: Mental Fortitude & The US Marathon Championships

Recently, coming off a win at The Monterey Bay Half Marathon with a PR of 1:03.36, Tapia is in great shape. Success doesn’t happen overnight and we asked him what the biggest components of his training are to prepare him for the US Championships this coming weekend. On the mental side, I picture myself crossing that CIM finish line achieving all of my goals and sharing that moment with friends and family. Let’s take a look at his final workout before the US Championships: 12 by 3 minutes hard (at half marathon pace 4:45-5:00 minute per mile pace) with a 1 minute recovery jog in between reps (Around 8.5-9 miles) On Sunday, December 3rd, we wish Tapia the best of luck at the US Marathon Championships!

A workout with Edward Cheserek

Having a smile on his face and a pep in his step, Cheserek walked out onto Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon ready to run some 400 meter repeats on the track. The first four should be run in 63 seconds, the second four in 61 seconds, and then I’ll change my shoes and run the final four in 59 seconds. As the overcast sky showed few signs of the famous Oregon rain, Edward showed the itch of excitement as he prepared to run on the track he has called home for the past four years. The final four 400’s were run in 59 seconds, 58 seconds, 58 seconds, and 57 seconds.
