In my mommy of 3 era ✨ After baby number 3 I finally realize that postpartum isn’t about rushing to get back to feeling like myself again. It’s about accepting the fact that I may never feel the same again. It’s ok to miss who you used to be but… How could I go back to being a single 25 year old with no kids? That’s unrealistic. That girl is far removed from who I am today. For me, postpartum is about rediscovering myself and learning who I am in this season. Making time for self care and self reflection is essential. So is finding time for friends and doing things that make me happy. Getting to know the new you can be hard and sometimes sad. Coming to terms with having to let go of people and things that no longer fit into your life can be difficult but I’m doing my best to enjoy the adventure that is self re-discovery.

#AD Are your little ones constantly growing out of their clothes? The struggle is so real! That’s why I was pleasantly surprised during my last shopping trip to BJ’s Wholesale Club. This is what 3 months postpartum looks like for me! Legs and hips and body, body (and mommy pooch of course 😅) This time around I’ve been feeling really good about the body changes and actually been enjoying all the womanly curves and juiciness. Recently, I had an epiphany of sorts… Why would I complain about this body that 1. Gave life and 2. Houses my soul!!! Truth is that I don’t have to have a body, right?? And it surely is a blessing to have this one so I’m going to love it! Period! Emotionally speaking I haven’t been feeling the best. I’ve been open about my previous struggles with Postpartum depression. This time the depression has been coupled with anxiety that has been debilitating. Every day has been challenging but I am working my way out of the fog and on a healing journey. I’m looking forward to continue sharing more of my journey of resilience and healing. 💪✨ Dealing with postpartum depression and anxiety has been a challenging road, but I’m learning to embrace self-care, seek support, and prioritize my mental health. I’m so excited to finally introduce you to our little missing puzzle piece. Miss Autumn Rose Wilkinson 🍁🤎 We welcomed her on July 25, 2023 at 1:01pm. She weighed 5 lbs 9 ounces and is our smallest baby out of the 3. This is hilarious because she kept measuring a week ahead throughout my pregnancy and I predicted she’d be our biggest baby. Boy was I wrong! 😂 She’s small but mighty like one of the nurses at the hospital said. I can tell she’ll be a force to be reckoned with for sure!
