This untitled piece is becoming one of my favorites. This year, I set out to challenge myself as a traditional artist by creating more complex portraits set scenes. Before, I would simply illustrate an individual without adding much detail to the rest of the artwork. Now, I’m over here drawing a woman relaxing on the couch with her pup while enjoying a movie with a bowl of popcorn. A mentor once told me that to be a great artist, you must continue to evolve.
