Our sons room is tiny, when we bought the house it was like a walk in closet that is how small the space is. When we left Chicago to move to the town of Bloomington, Indiana we wanted more land and a small living space. When we had two floors and over 1800 square feet of space, I hardly saw them because they lived in their rooms and only came out to eat and when guest were visiting. So I love that we live in this small space now because we are forced to actually spend time with one another.
I knew that the first room I wanted done was my daughters room. Macy's (I got this pillow on clearance for $7) I got this macramé pillow at Macy's on clearance (I paid $10) We painted the closet doors a high gloss white paint and added these black knobs.
The wood horse had a metal pole attached to it that was originally mounted to something but caused the horse to keep toppling over. My husband found this chunky reclaimed piece of wood in the garage that had saw marks. I sealed the horse with a hemp oil by Miss Mustard Seed to give it a new luster and so that every color was rich and vibrant again.
