Exploring Shikoku - a Guide for the Adventurous traveller

If you want to experience the river at it’s best - nothing beats the contrast between the fiery foliage and the blue water in Autumn! If you’re not a fan of rafting, or just want to experience the river at a slower pace, a river cruise is probably your best bet. After the river cruise, it’s time to head to another amazing river - this one being Niyodo River, or the “Blue River If you’ve got any energy left, and want to experience some mountain scenery that is well away from the tourist trail, then head straight up to Shikoku Karst.

3 Places I Loved in Japan

We arrived mesmerised by our first glimpse of the gorge, prominent light beams making their way down to the sheer gorge walls. After exploring the gorge by foot we spent the following day rafting down its rapids and then finally with a more calm boat ride in between the sheerest cliffs of Oboke Gorge. Nikofushi Waterfall (or any waterfall you happen to stumble across) Japan is very mountainous, it also receives quite a substantial amount of rain each year - so I guess that explains why it's home to so many beautiful waterfalls! It's just a short 100m descent to the falls where you will be greeted by a bright turquoise pool, the water is also crazy clear like its surrounding rivers!

3 Must Visit Islands in Vanuatu

We went onto the main road in town and asked every car rental place the price for their best and most affordable cars, which were all about $120AUD Also, if you're all for supporting the locals like we are, Lololima and Rentapao Riverside are the best waterfalls to visit - these are still owned by the local communities trying to make a living, rather than them being bought out by overseas visitors like other waterfalls on the island. If you ever have an opportunity to head to this part of the world and decide to check it out for yourself, I couldn't recommend staying at Daniel's bungalow home and seeing his cave this way ENOUGH! You can take a tour up to the top of volcano where you can watch the eruptions in action, we decided to give this a miss, purely for budgeting reasons (the tour is a minimum of $120AUDpp, and we just couldn't afford at the time,) if you can however afford it

Driving The Great Barrier Reef - Pt 2 (Townsville Region)

It’s worth sticking around on the island for sunset - and there’s no better way or people to spend it with than the team behind ! Make sure you have something booked in advance as spots can fill up pretty quickly, a week should be enough time outside of peak/holiday periods, and this way you can make sure the wind and sun are in your favour for the best possible clarity. are absolute legends, and the trip is pretty well priced for what they provide - A full day on the reef, delicious lunch and snacks, and you are only with around 20 other people so the experience is much more intimate and genuine. Adrenalin(Its also worth noting that our boat from Port Douglas was 1 of 3 out at that particular reef, with groups of around 100 people per boat, it felt like we were only a number filling up space on these large vessels, so make sure heading out from Townsville with is your priority.)
