It is going to hard to leave San Poncho. After spending a week in this beautiful town, we know this is our place. Our first visit will certainly not be our last #travel #sunsetview #tlpicks

What to Pack for a Summer Road Trip

If a road trip is in your near future, be sure your packing list includes some of these essential items. This water-resistant nylon, cargo tote is great for the beach, grocery store, or a weekend escape. To keep it to a minimum, I’d carry this no-touch door opener tool with you for contactless entry into any building. My packing list always a high-quality, nylon braided 10 ft long cord.

Grateful to live in a place where there are plenty of places to practice #socialdistancing. . . #Travelers from all over the world come to visit @shelburnefarms, a 1,400 acres working farm and National Historic Landmark on the shores of Lake Champlain. . It is 15 minutes from my home in Vermont. We have been coming here for the last twenty years. When our kids were little they learned to milk a cow, hold chickens and attended programs and camps at the farm barn. We have celebrated birthdays and anniversaries at the restaurant in the Inn. During the spring, we’ve watched them boil sap into maple syrup in the sugar shack. And we have always hiked the paths and walking trails. Thanks for keeping the property open during this time when we all need a place to get away from it all. .

What it is really like to stay at a hotel during coronavirus

I’ve been grounded for eight weeks, in a travel writer‘s life that feels like more like eight years. A blood test at home in Vermont confirmed that he was indeed a match for a woman suffering from Leukemia, a type of cancer that is found in blood and bone marrow. However, when the Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston found out that we would need a place to stay, they graciously offered us a room to honor one of their staff members who received a bone marrow transplant. However, I am so impressed with the way the Four Seasons One Dalton handled my hotel stay during the coronavirus that I plan to return to this property for years to come.

Never in a million years did I think I’d be I’d be checking into a @fourseasons hotel during a Pandemic. Today my brave son is donating his stem cells at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. • • • Last year he was swabbed for the @giftoflifemarrowregistry during an event at @gwuniversity. Little did he know that simple cheek swab would become a life-changing experience and an act of kindness he could never have imagined doing during a pandemic. • • • While he was home for Christmas break, he found out that he was a potential match for a patient. A blood test confirmed that he was indeed a match for a 70-year woman suffering from Leukemia, a type of cancer that is found in blood and bone marrow. They needed his healthy stem cells to help save her life. He was initially scheduled to donate his cells at a collection center near his school in Washington, DC this Spring. However, with the COVID-19 Pandemic, that wasn’t possible. • • • To our surprise The @fsbostondalton graciously offered us a room for free to honor of one of its staff members who received a bone marrow transplant that ultimately saved his life. I plan to return to the hotel for years to come. It is a beautiful property with an amazing staff. We will forever be grateful to them for providing us with a safe haven during this time. • • • I couldn’t be prouder of @flynn_freeman who did not let the coronavirus pandemic stop him. In a selfless act of kindness, he became somebody's hero. He risked his life during this unprecedented time to give a stranger the Gift of Life ❤️

Everything you need to know about Coronavirus and your cruise booking.

Ocean-going cruise lines will be voluntarily and temporarily suspending cruise ship operations from and to U.S. ports of call for 30 days as public health officials and the U.S. Government continue to address COVID-19. During this unprecedented time, as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, it may be affecting your current and future cruise plans. The vast majority of cruise lines are making Coronavirus cruise ship updates along with commitments to their passengers so that they can feel confident about their cruise bookings. I have created this guide to help you to quickly find coronavirus cruise cancellations and updates

The best luxury hotels in downtown Montreal

These Montréal hotels are also within walking distance to Mont-Royal Park, the McCord Museum, the Redpath Museum, and the Museum of Fine Arts. This not-so-traditional brasserie, located on the 3rd floor with an open terrace, has phenomenal food featuring plenty of local seafood. This new luxury megastore for women and men is where upscale fashion, beauty, and glamour come together in downtown Montréal. This high-end shop is home to brands such as Channel, Tiffany’s, La Mer and unique beauty products and experiences.

Puerto Vallarta is the perfect day trip from San Poncho if you crave city life. Have lunch @barcelonatapaspv and then wander through the nearby art galleries #satw #placestogo #visitmexico

I always prefer the road less traveled. I have found it here in San Poncho, Mexico. This sleepy surf town is just north of Sayulita on the pacific coast. It is just the right size. The pace is slow. The locals are kind. The food is authentic. The beach is pristine. There are no crowds. No chain hotels or stores with names you would recognize, just a few boutiques and surf shops. This is a place I could return to again and again. #satw How do you prefer to #travel?
