Portugal Travel: What You Need To Know Now

Before you start travel shaming me, you should know that I was invited to visit by TAP Air Portugal and Azores Getaways to visit in a professional capacity. I went to investigate what they are doing to keep their country safe during COVID-19 as well as to observe Portugal’s travel restrictions and the procedures they are putting in place as they ready themselves for tourism recovery. According to National Health Authority guidelines, this coveted Clean and Safe certification recognizes hotels, restaurants, and businesses as establishments that comply with all of the protocols set forth by Portugal’s National Tourism Authority. TAP Air Portugal Clean & Safe program requires a negative RT PCR COVID-19 test within 72 hours of flight departure.

Watching the morning begin from our secluded perch high above town. I love looking down at San Pancho beach with Sayulita in the distance. It is the best of both worlds — ocean and mountain views. #mexico #visitmexico #travelsafe #travelsafely #remotework #oceanview #mountainview #sanpancho #rivieranayarit #sayulitamexico

Maine's Mid-Coast is calling! A complete visitor's guide to Camden, Maine

16 Bay View is Camden, Maine’s newest luxury hotel. This Camden Maine hotel is part of the Bay View Collection, a local hotel empire that also includes sister properties the Lord Camden Inn, and the waterfront Grand Harbor Inn. In a renovated building that once housed an automobile dealership, a movie theater, and a local bar among other things, 16 Bay View’s hallways are lined with old photos showcasing the history that is part of its heritage. I’d also recommend staying at the 16 Bay View before or after sailing on the Windjammer Angelique which departs from Camden Harbor.

What tennis court dreams are made of 🎾 There are no public tennis courts in San Pancho. This court overlooking the ocean is privately owned and is the only one in the entire town. I’m blaming my loss today on the view. I was completely distracted. #sanpanchomexico #sanpancholife #rivieranayarit #mexico #visitmexico #travel #tennis #getoutandplay #tennisplayer #tenniscourt

Epic Vermont swimming holes where the locals go.

Located alongside Lincoln Road, Bristol Falls (A.K.A. Bartlett Falls) starts with a waterfall that leads into a small canyon of slow-moving water. If you don’t want to be in the water, the edges are filled with plenty of large rocks and boulders which make great places to sit. Located along the Joiner Brook River, the potholes are made up of a series of five waterfalls that create several separate pools of water. There is no parking allowed along the road however, there is a very small parking lot at the bottom of Bolton Valley Access Road.

Thanks to @nilsbernstein for outing this little gem in his article for @hemispheresmag. We had the most delightful afternoon at @litibugrill. Worth traveling off the beaten path to find it. #litibugrill #litibu #litibubeach #visitmexico #mexicotravel #restaurant #oceanfront #beachvibes #beachfrontdining #visitméxico #satw
